Week 3 of the XFL season gets underway this weekend with two teams still undefeated and two teams still seeking their first win of the season. Let’s take a close look at all four matchups in Week 3. Let’s see how the XFL betting odds will be for this Week 3.

XFL Week 3 Preview, Odds & Picks

Houston Roughnecks (-5.5) at Tampa Bay Vipers

The 2-0 Roughnecks will look to stay perfect as they hit the road for the first time this season. Quarterback P.J. Walker has been the standout star of the season thus far. He and wide receiver Cam Phillips having great chemistry with one another, connecting on three touchdown passes last week. Meanwhile, the Vipers are reeling with two losses to start the season. They also aren’t sure if Aaron Murray will be back from a foot injury that kept him sidelined in Week 2. The combination of Taylor Cornelius and Quinton Flowers didn’t get the job done last week thanks to a combined three interceptions.

Pick: Houston -5.5

Dallas Renegades (-4.5) at Seattle Dragons

The Renegades were happy to get Landry Jones back from a knee injury last week. But it was actually their running game that made the biggest difference in last week’s win over Los Angeles. This week, Dallas might need both Jones and their running game to play at a high level against a Seattle defense that looked outstanding at home last week. Jones threw two picks last week, which could be a concern against the Dragons. Of course, Brandon Silvers and the Seattle offense still leave much to be desired.

Pick: Dallas -4.5

New York Guardians at St. Louis BattleHawks (-7.5)

The Guardians looked great in Week 1 but were abysmal in Week 2, especially on offense. Matt McGloin was 8 for 19 throwing for just 44 yards and two interceptions. Backup Marquise Williams wasn’t much better, so the New York offense has some soul searching to do after last week. Meanwhile, the St. Louis offense was humming last week but lost because of two interceptions by Jordan Ta’amu that set up easy scores for Houston. Ta’amu was 30 of 37 for 284 yards last week, but the BattleHawks need him to avoid critical mistakes if they’re going to win close games.

Pick: New York +7.5

DC Defenders (-7) vs LA Wildcats

The last thing the Wildcats need right now is to face a defense that pitched a shutout last week. The Defenders are living up to their name and playing strong defense. Josh Johnson made a few plays for L.A. last week, but he’s not getting much help around him. The Los Angeles defense could also have its hands full this week with Cardale Jones, who’s been playing at a high level over the first two weeks of the season.

Pick: DC -7
