All across Europe, the major soccer leagues are heading toward the end of the season. For teams fighting for a title, a Champions League spot, or to avoid relegation, every game has monumental consequences. Let’s take a look at some meaningful games in Europe this week and see if we can find can’t pick a few good soccer betting picks.

Top Soccer Betting Picks of the Week – April 22nd Edition

Tottenham vs Brighton & Hove Albion, Tuesday

A midweek Premier League game brings us a game between a team fighting for top-4 and one that’s fighting to avoid relegation. Tottenham is a heavy favorite at -337 to win, although Spurs are missing a few key players due to injury and are tired after playing Manchester City twice in the last week.

However, Brighton’s last win came on March 9. That was also the time they scored a Premier League goal. Brighton has a money line of +861, so there’s a huge payoff if they can pull off the upset against a vulnerable Tottenham team. But you can’t trust Brighton to score whereas Spurs should find a way to find the back of the net once in their new stadium. Tottenham should be one of your Soccer Betting Picks.

Manchester United vs Manchester City, Wednesday

It’s a mid-week Manchester Derby with a lot on the line for both sides. City is the favorite, but the money line is only -251, which isn’t outrageous. Pep Guardiola’s side will be the road team on Wednesday, making the short trip to Old Trafford. But they’ve also won their last 10 Premier League games and know that they’ll win the title if they win the rest of their games.

Meanwhile, United is in the midst of a slump and coming off arguably their worst game of the season over the weekend, a 4-0 loss to Everton. They won’t play that poorly in a derby, but they have two wins and six losses in their last eight games in all competitions, and their performances during that span have been poor. It’s hard to say no to a money line of +569 for United at home, but there’s a serious gap between these two teams at the moment, so bet on Manchester City to win.

Inter Milan vs Juventus, Saturday

Juventus has already wrapped up the Serie A title, but they’re going to bring their best effort against one of their biggest rivals in the Derby d’Italia. Inter, of course, will feel the same way because they still have some work to do in order to qualify for Champions League next season.

Juventus looks like a good Soccer Betting pick for this week.

This matchup is also interesting because the betting line is tight. Juventus has a +183 money line, making them slight favorites over Inter at +140 while a draw is set at +222. Both teams are out of European competition, meaning both sides will field the best starting 11 possible. That should favor Juventus, especially since Inter has won at home in their last four games across all competitions. Bet on Cristiano Ronaldo and company to find a way to win 1-0 on the road.

Borussia Dortmund vs Schalke, Saturday

This is another game between two teams from opposite sides of the table. Schalke is a heavy underdog at +749 to win on the road, but they know that one more win can all but save them. Meanwhile, there’s not much upside to betting on Dortmund to win with a -356 money line.

They are also dealing with the pressure of trailing Bayern Munich by one point in the title race with four games left to play. However, Dortmund bounced back from a disappointing loss to Munich with a win last weekend. They should be able to take care of business against a lesser side. Bet on Dortmund to beat Schalke on Saturday.
