Manchester United vs Leicester City English Premier League Odds & Prediction

It’s been quite the season for Leicester City. They are one of the four unbeaten teams in the Premier League. They are currently sitting in fourth place in the Premier League standings with eight points.

Manchester United is currently sitting in 8th place in the Premier League. They have only one loss this season, but with only one win and two draws, they have claimed the 8th spot. With only five points Man U has some work to do to climb up the standings.

Leicester City has been impressive this season. In their last match, they defeated Bournemouth 3-1. The Foxes offense was led by Jamie Vardy with two goals, and Youri Tielemans with one.

Vardy has scored three goals on the season, scoring the three goals in just six shots on goal. Vardy has been helped out by the exciting mid field group of Leicester City. Defensively, the Foxes have been one of the league’s top teams. Goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel has been a brick wall, only allowing three goals.

It hasn’t been the year that the Manchester United fans were hoping for. They only have one win on the season, and they’ve had numerous missed opportunities. In their last match at Southampton, they could only come away with a draw. Southampton played a majority of the second half with only 10 men on the pitch.

Jones Guiding Offense

Daniel James has been the leader of the Manchester United offense. Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial need to help provide a boost for the Man U offense.Paul Pogba has been solid for Man U, leading the team in assists.

Defensively, Manchester United has been impressive. The defense has only allowed four goals on the season. With the defense being led by former Leicester City member Harry Maguire, it’s a challenge to score upon the Foxes.

When these two teams last met, the Red Devils of Man U defeated the Foxes of Leicester City 1-0. The Manchester United fans are starting to get unruly, and they’re looking for improvement from their squad. The Red Devils need to start playing better so they don’t fall further down the standings. Manchester United hasn’t won since their opening match, scoring four of their seven goals for the season in that match.

What Must Happen

Manchester United will have to stop Jamie Vardy if they hope to win this match. Vardy has scored 12 Premier League goals since March. Right now, Leicester City has more going for them, and they seem to be the more athletic group. If Man U can contain Vardy and company, they will have a chance at claiming a victory. If they can’t Leicester City will be tough to stop.
