Why Bet on Germany?

The goals scored by Germany in the Confederations Cup have come from different players. The first goal in the opener was by Lars Stindl in the 5th minute of the game. After that, Germany scored back to back goals to move ahead 3-1. Those goals were from Julian Draxler and Leon Goretzka. In the 1-1 matchup against against Cameroon; Mark Milligan scored.

Team Germany started playing organized soccer back in 1900. Germany has used two different goaltenders in the Confederations Cup. Berno Leno and Marc Andre ter Stegen have split the time. Both goaltenders are 25 years old, and still seem to have a bright future in between the pipes for Germany.

Cameroon is the underdog

Why Bet on Cameroon?

Cameroon did not score in the first matchup. In the second game, Andre-Frank Zambo Anguissa scored the goal. He is just a 21 year old that stands 6’0, and weighs 163. Cameroon has a big time struggle on the offensive side.

The goaltender for Cameroon during the Confederations Cup has been Fabrice Ondoa. The 21 has extreme athleticism, but still seems to be pretty raw. Cameroon does not give him a ton of help, with some defensive players that lack the talent in the back field.

Betting Pick & Prediction

This has the making of an excellent blow-out game. Team Germany is not happy about not going unbeaten in Group play. If Team Germany wins, they finish in the Top two and advance to the next portion of the Confederations Cup. This is going to be the biggest deficit of any of the Group B matchups.

Germany is a huge favorite, and when they score early, they will sit back and then eventually bury Team Cameroon. It was a good run for Team Cameroon, but it’s coming to an end in this game. The final bet for this game is Team Germany 2/5 odds on Sunday over Cameroon.
