Thursday marks the final day of the group stage at the 2018 World Cup. It promises to be a memorable day with some heavyweight matches on the docket. Let’s take a closer look at all four games on the schedule.

Expert 2018 World Cup Betting Preview for Day 15

Tunisia vs Panama

Both of these teams have been eliminated, but they would both love a consolation victory on the way out. Tunisia is the favored side at -121, but Panama has the potential to spring an upset at +344. A draw between the two teams is set at +264.

Both teams have been vulnerable defensively in their first two games, combining to allow 16 goals in their four games. With both teams having nothing to lose, they are each likely to take their chances going forward. That should make for an interesting game, but one that favors Tunisia, who has been the more technical of the sides during the tournament.

England vs Belgium

Both teams have secured a spot in the knockout stage, but first place in Group G is still up in the air. England is a slight favorite at +161, although Belgium is not far behind at +191. A draw is also a distinct possibility at +213. If that happens, first place in the group will be determined based on what team has accumulated fewer bookings during the tournament.

To be frank, the result of this game is anybody’s guess. With so many of the Belgium players applying their trade in the English Premier League, there is a great familiarity between these two teams. Both sides are also likely to make key lineup changes since both know they will play beyond this game. Without knowing those lineup changes ahead of time, it’s tough to know what team has the edge in the game.

Poland vs Japan

The Poles have already been eliminated from contention, but they still have good odds to earn a win at +188. Meanwhile, Japan can ensure they advance with a win, which is listed at +159. Meanwhile, a draw, set at +218, will also be enough for Samurai Blue to reach the knockout stage.

In their two losses, Poland has been pushed around physically, but that should be less of an issue against Japan. Of course, that hasn’t been their only problem. They’ve struggled to get striker Robert Lewandowski the ball in dangerous positions, and they may have a chance to do better against a Japanese team that could be vulnerable at the back.

Japan is the 2018 World Cup Betting favorite against Poland.

However, Japan has four points for a reason. They have their deficiencies, but they have started to find their identity as a skilled and crafty team over their last two games. The Japanese will be confident heading into this game, especially knowing that a draw will see them through.

Colombia vs Senegal

This could end up being one of the more entertaining games of the group stage. Colombia is favored at -116 compared to Senegal at +340. However, this game figures to be a lot closer than that. A draw, which is set at +253, could be a distinct possibility.

The Colombians proved in their 3-0 win over Poland how talented they are. However, they face a tough matchup in Senegal, a team that should be able to match up with them physically and athletically. The Lions of Teranga also have the speed to be dangerous on the counterattack, which could be a concern for Colombia, as they must press the issue and play for the win. That could lead to an open and entertaining 2018 World Cup matchup.
