Looking to boost the amount of money you have in your NHL online gambling account? Take a look at some of these matchups. As always, you’ll want to check the latest lines and injury reports before you place your wager, but these are the games that attracted my interest.

Top NHL Betting Games Of the Week

Edmonton at Minnesota (Thursday)

You have a young team that plays with a lot of gusto, even though they forget to defend sometimes, in the Minnesota Wild, hosting a 59-point team in the basement of the Pacific Division. The Wild are still clinging to the edge of a wild card playoff position, while the Oilers are firmly looking toward next year. Since the Wild are hosting this game, I’d be likely to pick them, as they have won six of their last 10.

Pittsburgh at Columbus (Friday)

Columbus is a quirky rink for whatever reason, and a lot of good teams go in there and lose. Columbus has a fairly stout defense at home, but their offense struggles at times. Right now, though, the Penguins are scuffling a bit (5-5 in their last 10), and even though the Blue Jackets are 12 points behind Pittsburgh right now, I’d pick Columbus to pull off the upset.

Anaheim at St. Louis (Friday)

The Ducks are 9-0-1 in their last 10, while the Blues are 7-3-0 over the same time period. However, the Ducks just saw that winning streak come to an end with that overtime loss, while the Blues are riding a three-game winning streak right now. The Blues are tough at home and have the ability to lock down the Ducks’ offense.

Chicago at Dallas (Friday)

If you’re a fan of either of these teams, it has to be frustrating watching them play. They both score in bunches, but their defense and their goaltending swing wildly between the terrific and the awful. Dallas coughed up an early lead to lose in Montreal in overtime on Tuesday, making them 3-5-2 in their last 10, while the Blackhawks are 5-4-1. They have switched places in the standings multiple times, so it remains to be seen which version of both teams will show up. Right now, I’d pick Chicago to win this one, since the last time they met in Dallas they skated out with a 5-1 rout of the Stars.

New York Rangers at Detroit (Saturday)

Two of the Original Six square off in Motor City. The Rangers are the better team this year, but Joe Louis Arena is a raucous rink, and the Rangers have won 7 of 10, while the Red Wings have just won 3 of 10. So I’m picking the Rangers to skate into Detroit and come out with a big win.

St. Louis at Dallas (Saturday)

The Blues and Stars will both be coming off tough games the night before, so you’ll want to check injury reports before you put down your bet. These teams are in a fight with Chicago for the Central Division lead, and you can expect a hard-fought tilt. While I don’t think Dallas will stop Chicago, I do think they will rebound and stop the Blues, who have a little less offensive firepower.
