It’s going to be another busy weekend in the sports world! Let’s take a look at some of the top events for the upcoming weekend so you can bet against MyBookie’s Betting odds.

Top Sports Events for This Weekend – August 14th-15th

The NFL is Back!

The NFL will have a busy weekend. This is the first full weekend of the preseason, and we’ll be seeing NFL action every weekend until the Super Bowl. On Saturday, we’ll see nine preseason games. The New Orleans Saints will be taking on the Baltimore Ravens in one of the nine games. We’ll get to see Taysom Hill and Jameis Winston battle it out to replace the retired Drew Brees.

The defending Super Bowl Champions will open up their preseason on Saturday, as the Buccaneers will host the Cincinnati Bengals. We’ll also see the battle of New York/New Jersey, as the Jets and Giants will clash. We’ll also see the NFL debut of Trey Lance, as the San Francisco 49ers will take on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

MLB Action

In Major League Baseball action, coming off of their epic game at the Field of Dreams in Iowa, the New York Yankees and Chicago White Sox will continue their series. The Yankees had a slow start to the season but have been coming on strong as of late. They’ll face a White Sox team that has all but wrapped up the American League Central.

Another important weekend series will see the Los Angeles Dodgers taking on the New York Mets. These two find themselves in the thick of the National League playoff race. Both teams are currently sitting in second place in their divisions. While both are fighting for their divisional titles, they’re also trying to stay in the Wild Card race as well.

The PGA Tour

In PGA action, the tour heads to the Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, for the Wyndham Championship. Since this is the last event before the FedEx Cup Playoffs, some of the top names have chosen not to participate. However, there are still some very good golfers playing this weekend. Webb Simpson, Hideki Matsuyama, Louis Oosthuizen, Patrick Reed, and Sungjae Im headline the field at the Wyndham.

NASCAR at the Brickyard

The NASCAR Circuit will be at the Brickyard this weekend. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway will be a busy place this weekend, as NASCAR invades one of the most iconic tracks in the world. This year’s events are different, as the races will be held on the Road Course at Indy. On Saturday, the Xfinity Series will run the Pennzoil 150.

On Sunday, all eyes will be on the Cup Series for the Verizon 200 at the Brickyard. Kyle Larson will look to continue with his winning ways. After winning last weekend, Larson would love to win his second in a row. Chase Elliott is also one of the favorites to take the checkered flag. Martin Truex, Kyle Busch, and Denny Hamlin are also some of the picks to win on Sunday.
