NFL Betting: Week 3 of the 2021 Regular Season Power Rankings

Week 2 of the NFL saw some great performances from both teams and individuals. Some of the teams expected to be in the playoff picture have started off well, while some others have been a disappointment after two games. Let’s take a look at which teams we think are living up to expectations and a couple of surprises in our Power Rankings so you may continue betting against the NFL odds.

2021 NFL Week 3 Power Rankings

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It has looked like the prime run of the Patriots, as the Tom Brady to Rob Gronkowski connection has been huge over the first two weeks of the season. Brady continues to defy Father Time, and the Bucs offense has been great to start the season. The defense hasn’t looked like they did at the end of last season, but they’ve bent but not broken, allowing the Bucs to start the season off at 2-0.

2. San Francisco 49ers

Although it hasn’t been pretty all the time, the Niners are now 2-0. Kyle Shanahan has brought out some new aspects of his offense, and the 49ers have put plenty of points on the board to start the season. Injuries have hurt them, but they’ve still found ways to win. If the defense can stay healthy, we can see San Francisco being a force to be reckoned with.

3. Arizona Cardinals

Even though they’ve made some mistakes early on, and Kyler Murray has been inconsistent at times, the Cardinals are putting up some big points and winning games. The defense has been better than expected. We’ll see how well the Cardinals compete in a loaded NFC West.

4. Kansas City Chiefs

Even after their heartbreaking loss to the Ravens on Sunday night, the Chiefs are still one of the top teams in the league. Patrick Mahomes, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce are nearly unstoppable. If the running game and defense can catch up with Mahomes and the passing game, the Chiefs will be hard to stop.

5. Cleveland Browns

The Browns rebounded well against the Texans after losing Week 1 to the Chiefs. The Browns’ defense still needs to improve, but Baker Mayfield looks like he has command of the Browns’ offense. We have yet to see Odell Beckham, and now Jarvis Landry is hurt. We’ll see what the Browns do next week.

6. Los Angeles Rams

Matthew Stafford has looked good in his first two games under center. He has a great connection with Cooper Kupp. If the running game can really take off, the Rams will be in business. There have been some struggles on the defensive side of the ball, but once those get taken care of, Aaron Donald and company will be tough.

7. Buffalo Bills

The Bills’ defense has overshadowed Josh Allen and the offense early on. Allen has yet to have a big game, but the Bills running attack has been better than advertised. The defense has come up huge this season. If they can continue to play well, it’s only a matter of time before Allen breaks out, and the Bills will be very hard to stop at that point.
