The Minnesota Vikings will travel to visit the Seattle Seahawks on Monday Night Football this week. Both of these teams have been red hot all season and as a result are currently in the wildcard spots for the playoffs.

A win will be crucial in this game for both sides as they try to keep pace with their respective division leaders. This should be an exciting game to cap the long week of football ahead. Let’s take a look at the latest NFL Odds while making some predictions.

Vikings vs Seahawks 2019 NFL Week 13 Odds, Preview & Prediction

Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings have been on an absolute roll as they have won 6 of their last 7 games, with the one loss coming against the Kansas City Chiefs in a 26-23 game. Week five marked the start of that run and over that span Kirk Cousins is playing like one of the best quarterbacks in the league.

He has the highest passing rating in the league with a rating of 126. Cousins is also leading the league in passing touchdowns with 18 over that time even with star wideout Adam Thielen missing the last few games. His Completion percentage and yards per game total are both good enough for top three in the league.

Despite the impressive play of Cousins, it is Dalvin Cook who has really burst onto the scene this year as the surprise many did not see coming. He has over 1,000 yards rushing on the season and has 11 rushing touchdowns but is second in the league in scrimmage yards with 1,472.

The Vikings have a top ten offense in the league as far as yards per game with 378. The defense has also been stingy as they are only giving up about 18 points a game. Danielle Hunter has had a resurgence this year as he has 8.5 sacks which leads the team. The Vikings have only allowed three rushing touchdowns this year which is the fewest in the league.

Seattle Seahawks

With the 49ers traveling to Baltimore, a win could possibly force a tie atop the division so a win is important. The Seahawks have had the better offense of these two teams as they are a top five unit in both points and yards per game.

The only two losses on the season for the Seahawks are against the Saint and the Ravens so they play pretty well against even the toughest teams.

Rashaad Penny ran wild last week as he had 14 carries for 129 carries which equates to 9.2 yards per carry. He has also ran for six touchdowns on the year but will have a tough task against the Vikings Defense.

Chris Carson leads the team on the year with 879 yards and four scores rushing. Russel Wilson has all sorts of options when it comes to the passing game thanks to the addition of Josh Gordon who has looked to be comfortable in his role on this offense.

Seattle Tough to Beat

The Seahawks are three point favorites in this game and the betting total is 49 points. Seattle is the smart pick in this game as Minnesota has traditionally done poorly traveling out west as they are 2-7 in Seattle.

Factor in the fact that Russel Wilson and the Seahawks are playing their best football of the year and Seattle turns into the easy pick.
