NFL Betting: Super Bowl Odds Update Week 4

Posted by Derrick Harper on October 4, 2021 in

We’ve almost made it all the way through four weeks of the NFL season, and it’s starting to be more evident who the contenders are and who are the pretenders.

After each week of games, the oddsmakers adjust the Super Bowl odds. Let’s take a look at who Las Vegas thinks has the best odds of winning Super Bowl 56 in Los Angeles.

Updated Super Bowl Odds

Kansas City Chiefs +550

After their evisceration of the Eagles yesterday, Vegas thinks that the Kansas City Chiefs are the best team in the NFL. Patrick Mahomes threw for five touchdown passes yesterday, and the Chiefs offense is starting to roll. However, the Kansas City defense has yet to play what they consider to be a good game.

Until the defense gets a little better, the Chiefs are going to have to rely on Mahomes and the offense to carry them.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers +600

Tom Brady made a triumphant return to Foxboro on Sunday night. It wasn’t pretty, but he got the job done in a 19-17 victory over the Patriots. Injuries have been an issue for Tampa, as their top three defensive backs were out prior to or were injured during the New England game.

Tampa’s run defense is the best in the NFL, so teams will have to air it out against them. Whenever Brady is under center, your team has a great shot at winning.

Buffalo Bills +850

Josh Allen and the Bills are on a roll. They destroyed the Houston Texans on Sunday, and Allen had another great game. The running game for Buffalo has gotten better as the season has progressed, so with that, the Bills have an offense that can play with anyone.

The Bills defense is often overlooked, but they find ways to keep their opponents from scoring. It looks like we could see another Bills-Chiefs AFC Title game.

Los Angeles Rams +1000

Even though they didn’t play well in a loss to Arizona on Sunday, the Rams still have a legitimate shot of making it to the Super Bowl. With Matthew Stafford at the helm, the Rams offense can play with anyone.

Defensively, they have the best defensive lineman in the game and arguably the best cornerback as well. This team is built for the postseason.

Green Bay Packers +1200

Aaron Rodgers knows how to win. He doesn’t always have the best supporting cast, but he just finds ways to win. Once the Packers get everyone back from injuries, they could be even better.

Baltimore Ravens +1200

Lamar Jackson and company are grounding out wins again this season. With a defense that is among the league’s best, the Ravens are always going to be in contention to win it all.

Cleveland Browns +1200

Baker Mayfield and the offense are playing well, and the Browns have worked hard over the past couple of seasons to make improvements to their defense.

They took the Chiefs to the brink last year in the playoffs. Could they finally get over the hump this season?

Arizona Cardinals +1600

The Cardinals are one of the league’s remaining undefeated teams. After beating the Rams on Sunday, Arizona put everyone on notice.

They have a talented offense, and their defense has been very good this season. The NFC West will be a battle, but this team has the talent to make a run in the playoffs.
