NFL Betting: 2021 Regular Season Week 4 Predictions

Written by on September 28, 2021

Week 4 of the NFL season is already here. It’s never too early to look at the early spreads and make a few NFL betting predictions. Here are our Week 4 predictions.

Week 4 NFL  Odds Overview & Predictions for Each Game

Jacksonville Jaguars @ Cincinnati Bengals (-7.5)

It has not been a good start for the Trevor Lawrence/Urban Meyer era. Joe Burrow and the Bengals have won two in a row, and rookie first-round pick Ja’Marr Chase has been a great addition. Until Lawrence can get the turnovers under control, it’ll be a tough go for the Jags. We’re going with the Bengals in this one.

Tennessee Titans (-7.5) @ New York Jets

The Jets haven’t looked good early in the season. Tennessee struggled in Week 1, but has reeled off two straight wins behind the strong play of Derrick Henry. Until the Jets show us something, we’ll go with their opponents. Tennessee wins by two touchdowns.

Kansas City Chiefs @ Philadelphia Eagles (+6)

The Chiefs have lost two in a row, as their defense has let them down in key situations. The Eagles have yet to prove that their offense can put points on the board. This will be the game that the Chiefs need. KC wins and covers.

Carolina Panthers @ Dallas Cowboys (-4.5)

The Panthers have started the season 3-0. However, they’ll be without star running back Christian McCaffrey for the next few weeks. The Dallas defense has been better than expected this season. Dak Prescott has played well, and the passing game has been on point. The running game has yet to get on track. We like Carolina to win this one outright.

New York Giants @ New Orleans Saints (-8)

The Giants have been bad this season. While they’ve been inconsistent, the Saints have found ways to win games. New Orleans will return to the Superdome for the first time this season. That will be enough to lead the Saints to a huge victory over the Giants.

Cleveland Browns @ Minnesota Vikings (Pick Em)

The Browns’ lone loss came to the Chiefs. Minnesota is 1-2, and could very well be 3-0. Kirk Cousins has played well this season. The Minnesota defense hasn’t played well, and for that reason, we think the Browns win on the road.

Detroit Lions @ Chicago Bears (-4)

Both of these teams have some issues. However, the Lions seem to be more organized at this point. Take the Lions.

Houston Texans @ Buffalo Bills (-17.5)

17.5 is a lot of points. While the Texans are bad, we’re not sure that we’d trust the Bills that much. They’ve put up some big numbers the past couple of weeks, but we’re not willing to go all-in on the Bills.

Indianapolis Colts @ Miami Dolphins (-2)

The Colts are banged up, and Carson Wentz hasn’t looked good this season. The Dolphins seemed to be a little better with Jacoby Brissett under center. The Dolphins defense will take care of the Colts offense. Go with the Dolphins.

Washington Football Team @ Atlanta Falcons (Pick Em)

The Washington defense has been one of the biggest disappointments of the season. The Atlanta offense has yet to get going. This is the game that the WFT defense needs to get right. WFT with the victory.

Seattle Seahawks @ San Francisco 49ers (-3)

Seattle’s offense will be able to score against the banged-up 49ers’ defense. Take Russell Wilson and the three points.

Arizona Cardinals @ Los Angeles Rams (-6)

In the battle of the undefeated teams, we like the Rams. Los Angeles owns victories over some good teams, while the Cardinals have had a few breaks on their way to 3-0. The Rams win by 7.

Pittsburgh Steelers @ Green Bay Packers (-7)

Aaron Rodgers has rebounded well from his Week 1 clunker. Pittsburgh beat Buffalo in Week 1, but has since come back down to earth. Don’t bet against Aaron Rodgers.

Baltimore Ravens @ Denver Broncos (-3)

Lamar Jackson has shown a penchant for winning the close one. He’ll do it again in Denver on Sunday.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ New England Patriots (+5.5)

This is the day that Tom Brady has been waiting for. How can you bet against him in this one?

Las Vegas Raiders @ Los Angeles Chargers (-3)

Justin Herbert is the next great quarterback. He’s got the Chargers rolling. He and the Chargers will end the Raiders winning streak and will cover the spread.
