Odds on NFC Team Winning the Super Bowl LIV

The San Francisco 49ers continued their incredible turn around from a team that finished the season as the second worst in the NFL with a 4-12 record last season into a team that is one win away from Super Bowl LIV title. The 49ers will be playing in their first Super Bowl in six years after their strong running game and stout defense led them to a second defeat of Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers.

They now will get the chance to play the Kansas City Chiefs in what will prove to be one of the most exciting Super Bowl matchups we have had in several seasons. Let’s take a look at the latest NFL Odds while making some predictions.

Odds on NFC Team Winning the Super Bowl LIV

Unbeaten Midway

The 49ers started the season with an 8-0 record and looked to be the most dominant team in football but struggled down the final stretch of the season on their way to finishing 13-3 and securing the top seed in the NFC playoffs.

They walloped Minnesota 27-10 and with a chance to advance to the Championship they answered the call in a 14 point victory over the Packers. Jimmy Garopollo only had to throw the ball eight times in order for this team to prevail, which shows the strength of the San Francisco line and depth at running back.

The defense for this team has been the best in the NFL for most of the season. The defensive line has been one of the most fearsome units based on their ability to get after the quarterback in the passing game and also they excel at closing the gaps in the running game.

Rookie Nick Bosa and Dee Ford will be tasked with bringing down former MVP Patrick Mahomes who is deadly when he can extend games with his legs outside of the pocket. Richard Sherman and the secondary will be tested against the Tyreek HIll and Mecole Hardman duo which is among the fastest and hardest to contain in the league.

Underdog

San Francisco has opened as the underdogs for this game as they are being given plus-2 points despite having won more games in the regular season and never having trailed in the playoffs. They will look to get rolling early as they are a team who is lethal when able to play their brand of football.

They will look to smash you in the mouth early and challenge you to outplay their loaded defense and the speed they have at every position on that side of the football.

The smart pick for this game is San Francisco with the points. They have been the most complete team all year and Kyle Shanahan is proving to be one of the better young head coaches in the league thanks to his play calling ability on offense and always being on the attack.

George Kittle and Deebo Samuel are elite blockers on the outside of the field which opens the perimeter for Raheem Mostert who had over 200 rushing yards in the NFC championship game. Despite Jimmy G not having to make many throws during the playoffs the 49ers still look to be the best team still alive.

They just beat you in a more straightforward way and will leave Miami as Super Bowl Champions, completing their epic turnaround in just one season.
