After a Wild Card Weekend that proved to be everything we could have hoped for, we now get to see the top seeds in each conference coming into the picture in the NFL Divisional Round.

While it’s certainly always great to get the bye in the opening round, the concern is always that the team coming off the Wild Card win has all the momentum, which can make things a little interesting, especially in the early going of these games, where the better-seeded teams sometimes struggle to match the intensity.

We will keep all of that in mind as we cover your betting options for the NFC Divisional Round, with the 2 games split between Saturday and Sunday. Let’s take a closer look at the NFL Odds for the upcoming weekend action.

NFL Divisional Round Betting Odds & Expert Prediction

Cowboys vs Rams Odds

The Cowboys will square off against the Rams as a part of Saturday’s slate of football to kick off what many consider to be the best weekend in football. the number two seeded Rams come Currently the odds are established with a point spread of 7.

The Rams are getting -7 and the Cowboys are at +7.

This means that a bet on the Cowboys to cover the spread would allow the Cowboys to either win outright even lose by 6 points or less and the bettor would still receive a payout from the bet.

In this game, with these two teams, I’ll take the Rams to cover and win by more than 7 points. After all, the Rams come in as one of the best teams all season long.

They have talent at nearly all positions. I just don’t see how the Cowboys can compete for all four quarters. Keep in mind that the Rams were 7-8-1 against the spread as the favorite this year.

Eagles vs Saints Odds

The spread is currently locked in at 9 points with the Vegas pick to win going to the Saints. I think the Eagles have a chance here.

The Eagles are no favorites to win the NFL Divisional Round against the Saints.

They have some magic happening there and they do embrace the underdog mentality, but I think the opportunity here is to bet the Eagles to cover, despite falling short to the Saints.

I think it will remain a relatively close game due to the offensive prowess of both head coaches. The Eagles come into New Orleans riding the high of a Cody Parkey missed a field goal to send them to New Orleans.

The Saints will look to cap off their season with a deep playoff run. After resting their players during a well-deserved bye week, the Saints should look awfully sharp.

We’ll see if the Eagles have enough magic in the tank to pull the upset in this one.

The Saints won a lot this season, but they did not cover quite as often, going just 3-4 against the spread in games they started as a home favorite, supporting my choice to bet the Eagles to lose, but to cover the spread.
