NFL Odds Predictions New Orleans @ Tampa Bay
As the New Orleans Saints (4-8) head to Florida to take on the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-6), the Bucs have a surprising shot at a wild card on the line, while the Saints are now just relegated to the role of the spoiler. Tampa Bay is a 3.5-point NFL odds favorite, and the over-under total on this game is 51 points.

Why Take The Reeling Saints?
The Saints were 4-4 at one point, but now they have dropped four games in a row. New Orleans lost to Tampa Bay 26-19 at home back in September, as the Saints only had seven points on the board going into the fourth quarter before the home team tried to mount a comeback. Drew Brees finished 24 for 38 for 255 yards and a score and a pick on the day. At that point in the season, Brees was still recovering from a shoulder injury. He has been playing better, throwing 15 touchdown passes in the last five games, but the Saints defense has been largely suspect, leaving the Saints playing “catch-up” far too often.
Can Winston and The Bucs Continue Their Good Feels?
Last week, it was Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston who picked the team up and put them on his back in their win over the Atlanta Falcons. The team was down by three points with under three minutes to go and had a 3rd and 19 from the Atlanta 43. He ended up taking off on a scramble and looked like he was about to be gang tackled, but he found a way to break away and get that first down. It was only four plays later that Winston threw a touchdown pass to seal the win. In the press conference after the game, Tampa Bay coach Lovie Smith reveled in his quarterback’s run: “How about the run by Jameis. Tell me a better running quarterback in the league right now than Jameis Winston.” In the last three games, Winston has run for one touchdown and passed for seven more while just throwing two picks. He has thrown for 227 yards or more five weeks in a row.
The over is 5-2 in the last seven Tampa Bay games played on grass. In their last eight games, the Bucs are 6-2 against the spread. In their last four contests against teams with losing records, they are 4-0 against the spread. The over is 4-1 in the Saints’ last five games and 4-0-1 in their last five NFC games. In their last five games on grass, the over is 4-1.
Our Bucs vs Saints NFL Odds Betting Prediction
My play on this game is to take Tampa Bay to win and cover. They are playing with tremendous momentum right now, and I look to them to keep the gas down against New Orleans. However, I’m not sure they will hit that over, so I’m staying away from that and just taking Tampa.
