Why Bet on Denver Broncos

The Denver Broncos used their top draft pick in the 2017 season on offensive lineman Garrett Boles. The Broncos are looking for some depth on that line for head coach Vance Joseph. Denver a season ago ranked 27th in the league in passing yards, and 21st in rushing yards.

The Broncos have a pretty solid middle four in their great defense. Shane Ray, Brandon Marshall, Todd Davis and Von Miller are in the middle. Denver ranked 4th in all of the league last season, allowing less than 19 points per game.

Why Bet on Chicago Bears

The Chicago Bears are going to use quarterback Mike Glennon and rookie Mitchell Trubisky. Those two will take over for Jay Cutler this season. On the other hand, the Bears last season passed for just 248 yards per game. The Bears offense was 28th out of 32 teams in the league with just over 17 points per game.

Moreover, the Bears offense will once again feature the 1-2 punch on the ground of Jeremy Langford and Jordan Howard. The receiving core for the Bears features Cam Meredith and Kevin White, both unproven receivers. Defensively, the Bears allowed just shy of 25 points per game.

NFL Expert Pick & Prediction

The Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos during the regular season would not be much of a matchup. The Denver Broncos are a much better football team than the Chicago Bears. But, in a preseason setting, you just never know. The Bears head coach John Fox was the former coach of the Denver Broncos, so that narrative is around.

Chicago will play a tough game, but they just do not have enough depth, especially in a preseason game. The Denver Broncos are the better team and are going to win this game on the road. Bet on the Denver Broncos -1.5 over the Chicago Bears in a preseason game on Thursday.
