Now that we’ve entered Week 11 of the NFL season, it’s now starting to feel like “crunch time” for a lot of teams. If they want to make a run at a playoff spot, it’s now or never. Let’s take a look at the schedule for Week 11, and make some straight-up predictions so you can bet on their NFL odds.
2020 NFL Straight-Up Picks For Week 11
Arizona Cardinals at Seattle Seahawks
This one is huge for both teams. They’re both sitting at 6-3 and are in a three-way tie with the Rams for the division lead.
Seattle’s defense has been abysmal, and Russell Wilson hasn’t been playing as well as he did early in the season. DK Metcalf was held in check by Patrick Peterson the last time these two met.
We’re going to go with the Cardinals in this one.
Pittsburgh Steelers at Jacksonville Jaguars
Although the Jaguars gave the Packers a scare, Jake Luton isn’t good enough to lead the Jacksonville offense over the vaunted Steelers defense. Pittsburgh will be able to score on a weak Jaguars defense. The Steelers will stay undefeated after this one.
Detroit Lions at Carolina Panthers
The Panthers have been very competitive but have lost five in a row after starting the season 3-2. Detroit has been very inconsistent throughout the season.
Carolina will be without Christian McCaffrey in this one. The Panthers win in a close one.
New England Patriots at Houston Texans
The Patriots are coming off a huge Sunday night win over the Ravens, while the Texans fell to the Browns in a game that was marred by windy conditions. The Texans will be able to put up some points on the New England defense, but it won’t be enough, as the Patriots will beat Houston.
Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens
The Titans have lost three of their last four, while the Ravens are coming off a subpar performance against New England. Teams have been loading up the box to stop Derrick Henry. The Titans will need Henry to play well, as the Ravens have a very good defense.
Lamar Jackson has not played like he did last season, as teams have figured out how to contain him. He’ll be able to do some things against a weak Titans defense. The Ravens get back on the winning track on Sunday.
Philadelphia Eagles at Cleveland Browns
Kevin Stefanski has decided to take the ball out of Baker Mayfield’s hands and has committed to the run game as Nick Chubb and Kareem Hunt have thrived. After last week’s embarrassing loss to the Giants, the Eagles need good things to happen. Well, it won’t be this week, as the Eagles defense won’t be able to stop the rushing attack of the Browns.
Atlanta Falcons at New Orleans Saints
The Saints will probably be without Drew Brees in this one, as he has broken ribs and a collapsed lung. We’ll see what Jameis Winston can do in a full game.
The Saints defense has been playing well, but so has the Falcons offense. The Atlanta offense won’t be enough, as the Saints will win a close one.
Cincinnati Bengals at Washington Football Team
The Bengals are hoping that Joe Burrow will be healthy for this one, as he hurt his leg in the loss to the Steelers. Washington almost came back to beat Detroit but just fell short.
The Bengals can put up points and should be able to score against Washington. Cincinnati wins at Washington.
New York Jets at Los Angeles Chargers
All of the Chargers’ losses have come by less than seven points, and they have lost too many games on the last play. Lucky for them, they play the Jets this weekend.
Rookie Justin Herbert should help Los Angeles put up a ton of points. Chargers win.
Miami Dolphins at Denver Broncos
The Dolphins have looked good with Tua Tagovailoa under center. Drew Lock has also played well since coming back from his shoulder injury. The Dolphins are the better team and will win this one.
Dallas Cowboys at Minnesota Vikings
Dallas has been a major disappointment this season. With numerous injuries, they’ve basically fallen off the map.
Dalvin Cook has been running like a mad man, and he’ll continue that against the Cowboys. Vikings win this one.
Green Bay Packers at Indianapolis Colts
This matchup will pit Aaron Rodgers and the Packers’ offense against the top-rated Colts defense. If Philip Rivers can play well, the Colts have a great shot at winning. In a close one, the Colts defense wins out as they beat the Packers.
Kansas City Chiefs at Las Vegas Raiders
The Chiefs will be looking for revenge, as the Raiders gave them their only loss of the season. Patrick Mahomes is playing at an MVP level.
Derek Carr has also played well this season. This will be a shootout, but the Chiefs will be the better offense and win this one.
Los Angeles Rams at Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Rams defense has been a powerful unit this season. Tampa Bay’s defense has been struggling of late. The Rams win in a tight one.
