With Super Bowl 52 coming to an end, it’s time to start looking ahead at the 2018 – 2019 NFL season. Super Bowl LIII will be here before you know it – so it’s time to start looking ahead at the most likely matchups. Here is a look at our 5 Most Likely Super Bowl LIII Matchups.

5 Most Likely Super Bowl LIII Matchups

New England Patriots vs. Philadelphia Eagles

A rematch of Super Bowl 52. Why not, right? At this point, it’s just easy to pencil the New England Patriots in, and then adjust if something unforeseen happens. Tom Brady will be 41, but does that matter? Carson Wentz should be back for the Eagles and will have plenty of weapons around him. They are the top two favorites next season, so it’s the most likely of matchups for Super Bowl 53.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Well – a battle of Pennsylvania. This would certainly be interesting. This game happening could be the last hurrah for a guy like Big Ben Roethlisberger. If we were able to get the job done and win a Super Bowl – he could call it quits. What in the world is going to happen with running back Le’Veon Bell is the biggest question mark in this scenario. The Eagles and Steelers in Super Bowl 53 would certainly be interesting.

New England Patriots vs. Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers are going to get their guy back. Aaron Rodgers. He is a pretty good quarterback if you have never heard of him. The Packers are looking to build around Rodgers, and like a few other elite quarterbacks is not getting any younger. Look for the Packers to be a threat and be in play for a trip to Super Bowl 53.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Green Bay Packers

Eliminate the Patriots and take away the Eagles, and this is what you come up with. The Packers are going to have a tough time winning their division, as Minnesota is the defending champion.

Steelers vs. Packers have huge possibilities to be the Super Bowl LIII match up.

This would be an interesting game with Big Ben against Aaron Rodgers.

New England Patriots vs. Minnesota Vikings

The Vikings were a win away from getting to Super Bowl 52. There are some big-time questions around the Vikings. They have three quarterbacks on their roster and it’s possible that none of them will return next season. While – chances are at least ONE will – no one really knows who. Tom Brady taking on the tough Minnesota defense would certainly be an interesting Super Bowl 53.
