NFL Week 17 is upon us, which means the Playoffs are on the horizon. While most of the league has an idea of whether they will be playing on wildcard weekend or not, there are several games with significant implications. The tensions should be high as the teams on the bubble are desperate to make one final push for the playoffs. Here is a closer look at some of those NFL Betting games.

2019 NFL Week 17 Odds, Overview & Predictions for Each Game

Tennessee Titans vs Houston Texans +4

The AFC South division title was already decided whenever the Titans lost to the Texans just two weeks ago. The reason this game holds so much importance is due to the fact that the final AFC playoff spot is up for grabs and the Titans are currently in that spot. The Titans have dropped back to back games but the most recent one was to the Saints on the road.

The Texans seem to have hit their stride as the offense is rolling behind Deshaun Watson and the defense could be getting JJ Watt back for the playoffs. The Texans are getting plus-four point odds at home. Despite being on the road the Titans will find a way to win this game as it is essentially win and you are in for them. That should be all the motivation needed for this team.

San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks +3.5

This game is huge in part because it has major seeding implications at hand. The winner of this game will be the NFC West champion and as a result could skip playing in the wild card weekend. Either of these teams could finish as high as the top overall seed or as low as the fifth seed.

The 49ers lost the previous matchup between these two on a last second field goal. They are coming off a win against the Rams that eliminated them from contention.

The Seahawks on the other hand had one of the most shocking results of the previous week as they got dismantled by the Cardinals at home. They will be using Marshawn Lynch for the rest of the season after injuries brought him back to the field. The 49ers will win this game as injuries will pose too much of a problem for a Seattle team that will want to run but won’t be able to as a result.

Philadelphia Eagles vs New York Giants +4.5

Philadelphia is coming off of the biggest win of their season to date after they smothered the Dallas Cowboys to put themselves in the pole position of the NFC East. The division is not locked up yet though as the Eagles will need to win to get in still.

That could be tougher than initially thought though as the Giants have won their last two games coming into this game. It is also worth noting that they made Philadelphia drive the field on the final possession of their previous game in what ended up as a loss.

Philly will need to continue to feed Miles Sanders as he has been one of the best players in the NFL over the last three weeks. His 187 all purpose yards per game over that span puts him in the top seven in the league over that stretch. The Eagles will see a bigger challenge than what they would like to see but will defeat the Giants and secure the division as a result.
