It’s here! The big dance! The NCAA Tournament, 2019 March Madness has arrived. Let’s take a look for all you NCAAB Betting enthusiasts.

Top 2019 March Madness Betting Predictions of the Week – March 18th

Buffalo Bulls over Ohio State Buckeyes

The Bulls are sitting atop the MAC standings mostly because they have an offense that can score with any team in the nation (85.0 ppg, sixth).

Sure, Buffalo doesn’t play any elite competition, but then again, neither did Loyola-Chicago last year and they made an incredible run to challenge for the national championship. Buffalo has three double-digit scorers and a real star in senior combo guard C.J. Massinburg.

Look for this team to Buffalo, a No. 13 seed, upset No. 4 seed Arizona last year in the first round by a decisive margin, 89-68, putting them on the radar for another dazzling performance this time around.

The Bulls won’t be a double-digit seed in 2019 but they can be a team that makes it further than you might think a No. 7 seed can, but first, they need to make it past Akron in the MAC tournament.

The Numbers

Buffalo ranks 21st in offensive efficiency and 28th in defensive efficiency, and the average tenure of the roster is 2.33 years, 18th-highest in the nation, with a bench that plays 29 percent of minutes this season. That balance and experience could all pay off big in March as well as here in their conference championship.

Seniors Nick Perkins and CJ Massinburg will both leave school as one of the team’s top scorers of all time with Massinburg passing former NBA player Wally Szczerbiak as one of the 20 best scorers in the Mid American Conference. Massinburg is also averaging a team-high 18.7 points per game 6.2 rebounds.

As for the Buckeyes, they haven’t looked overly dominant this year. They typically can string together some wins in the tournament though, so they likely won’t be surprised by a Cinderella candidate in Buffalo. I still like the Bulls to take it to the Buckeyes and win what could be the first stunner of the tournament with a 6 seed overtaking an 11.

Gonzaga Bulldogs vs Gardner Webb Bulldogs

The Bulldogs have dominated the WCC since 1998, and the team has advanced to 20 consecutive WCC tournament finals, winning 16 of them. Gonzaga is one of the top scoring teams in the country, averaging 89.8 points per game. The team is shooting 53 percent from the field and 36 percent from three-point range.

Gonzaga is one of the favorites to win the 2019 March Madness.

Rui Hachimura leads the way for the Bulldogs with 20.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. Brandon Clarke is averaging 16.6 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, while Zach Norvell Jr. is averaging 15.7 points and 4.3 rebounds per game.

The Bulldogs have also played well on defense, holding opponents to 64.9 points per game, which is 32nd in the country. They gave up 63.2 points per game in their last four games and will need to keep playing well if they want to march on in the tournament.

Until last season, it was unheard of for a 16 to beat a 1 seed, and I know it’s not all that daring, but this is perhaps the game I feel most confident about, so why not bet on it.

Enjoy the 2019 March Madness. Those are a couple of our favorite games!
