The odds to win the NCAA Tournament have been released, and the 2018 March Madness has arrived. It’s interesting to look at future bets as the tournament gets rolling. We are here to give a look at some of the best March Madness picks. We are going to give you a couple favorites, a few dark horses picks and the smart picks for the tournament.

2018 March Madness Favorites, Dark Horses & Smart Picks

Villanova Wildcats 5/1

Out of the East Region – they are tied with Virginia to win it all and appear to be the better pick. West Virginia, with their pressure defense, could cause them fits in the Sweet 16, but many projects Texas Tech or Purdue to give them no real threat in the Elite 8. Jalen Brunson has already won a title at Villanova, and head coach Jay Wright seems to be one of the best up and coming coaches in the country. The Wildcats are our favorite to win the NCAA Tournament.

Duke Blue Devils 7/1

While not the favorite according to Vegas, the Blue Devils are the favorite of many to cut down the nets in San Antonio. Marvin Bagley III and Grayson Allen seem ready to carry the Blue Devils on their backs, along with some great talent around them. Coach K has been there and done that, and the Blue Devils are poised to make a deep run. The Blue Devils out of the Midwest Region would have to beat Michigan State and Duke to reach the Final Four, but they are more talented than both.

Oklahoma Sooners 100/1

You are probably saying – how is this possible? Well, the Sooners are a team that many are already counting out. But, at 100/1 with the talent that Lon Kruger has, they are the best dark horse available. The Big 12 was brutal this season, so now that they are out of conference, Young and the Sooners will look to play more like their December action. It’s worth a shot, with such a talented player leading the way.

Arizona Wildcats 10/1

The Arizona Wildcats are a smart pick. Why? Because Mr. Ayton is one of the best college players in the last couple seasons. The dude is a freak, and he has talent surrounding him.

Arizona looks like a safe bet for the first round of 2018 March Madness.

If the Wildcats can ban together, they are going to be awfully tough to beat. The Wildcats will likely have to beat Kentucky and Virginia to reach the Elite 8, but if you are looking for a smart pick – Arizona is it.

North Carolina Tar Heels 16/1

The final smart pick is the team that has been to the title game two straight seasons. Joel Berry III and Roy Williams want to keep their March gladness going. The Tar Heels played better as the season came to a close, and are looking to keep that going into March. North Carolina at 16/1 is a pretty smart pick!

Enjoy the 2018 March Madness. It should be a great tournament, with awesome upsets, amazing talent, and the best teams rising to the top. We hope you took a look at our March Madness Favorites, some Dark Horses, and Smart Picks. Best of luck with all your March Madness Betting!
