The Daytona 500 is this weekend from the Daytona International Speedway. The 2018 Daytona 500 is the 60th running of the event and is held over 200 laps and 2.5 miles from the speedway. This is the first race of the 2018 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series season. Richard Petty has won the most Daytona 500 races in his career, with 7. The defending champion is Kurt Busch in his Ford car a season ago. Let’s take a look at the 2018 Daytona 500 Betting Odds and give a quick look at the event.

2018 Daytona 500 Betting Preview

Brad Keselowski +800

A season ago, Keselowski was one of the favorites to take down the title. He finished 27th in that race after a crash. You can bet on Keselowski for $100, which would take down $800 in the win.

Denny Hamlin +1000

The 2016 winner of the Daytona 500 was a little surprising a season ago finished 17th a season ago. This is a pretty good bet, because the +1000 would pay pretty well for a guy that has won this event, and knows the race pretty well.

Joey Logano +1200

The 27-year-old has won this event back in 2015. Logano has been seen by many as one of the breakthrough guys in the racing world. Look for Logano to be in the thick of things when the dust settles at Daytona.

Kevin Harvick +1200

The #4 car comes in at 9th so far for this event. The 42-year-old won Daytona 500 but won it back 11 years ago. Harvick is one of the guys at +1200 that would be a pretty fun bet when the winner has presented the cup this weekend.

Kevin Harvick is among the 2018 Daytona 500 Betting favorites.

Chase Elliott +1200

The 22-year-old son of former Winston Cup Champion and two times Daytona 500 winner won the pole twice in a row. Elliott finished 14th a season ago.

Kyle Larson +1200

Kyle Larson is 25 years old, and many feel like he is coming into his own as a racer. He finished 7th in 2016 and took a step back a season ago finishing 12th. He could be an interesting one to bet in with his +1200 odds.

Others

  • Ricky Stenhouse +1400
  • Martin Truex Jr +1400
  • Jimmie Johnson +1400
  • Erik Jones +2200
