NCAAF Betting: Odds to Win the 2021 ACC Conference Championship

Posted by Derrick Harper on August 10, 2021 in

“It’s just Clemson’s world, and everyone else is just living in it” could be the way to describe the landscape of football in the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Clemson has dominated the ACC over the past few years, and they’ve rarely been challenged. Even though Miami and North Carolina have improved, they’re still not on the same level as Dabo Swinney’s Tigers.

When looking to make some bets on some ACC teams this season, we know that Clemson is the overwhelming favorite to win. We’ll also take a look at a smart pick and an underdog that could sneak up and steal the ACC title away from the favorites. With all that being said, it’s time to take a look at our College Football update so you can plan your bets against the NCAAF Conference Championship odds.

2021 NCAA Football – Atlantic Coast Championship Odds

Can Anyone Even Come Close to Clemson?

Right now, it looks like there isn’t a team in the ACC that can come close to stopping the Tigers. The toughest game of the year for Clemson is their opener against SEC powerhouse Georgia. Even though Clemson lost a lot of talent from last year’s team, they just reload with four and five-star talent. Clemson is at -800 to win the ACC this season.

DJ Uiagalelei will be under center for the Tigers this year. He looked great when he took over for Trevor Lawrence last season. The Clemson defense should be one of the best defensive units in the country. They have a great defensive line that should be hard to run against and will apply a ton of pressure to the opposing team’s quarterback.

Unless injuries hit the Tigers hard, we can’t see anyone beating them. And another thing going for them, they don’t play North Carolina or Miami.

Can Miami Finally Return to Prominence?

Many years ago, the Miami Hurricanes were a college football powerhouse. However, those days are gone, and now Manny Diaz is looking to take the program back into the championship picture. At +1000, it might be wise to take a chance on the Hurricanes.

D’Eriq King is back for the Canes. He is one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the country. Being led by King, Miami should have one of the top offenses in the ACC. If the defense can carry its weight, the Hurricanes should be right in the thick of the ACC title chase.

Florida State Still Has a Long Way To Go!

When Jimbo Fisher left Florida State, the program fell off a cliff. After some dismal seasons, Mike Norvell is trying to bring some success back to Tallahassee. At a +3000, the Seminoles are a huge underdog and don’t have a very good shot at winning the ACC.

They’ll need a lot of help, but having transfer McKenzie Milton under center is a good start. If Florida State can find some help for him, the Seminoles could have a decent offense.

Unfortunately, the Seminoles have a very tough schedule. They’ll play Clemson, Miami, and North Carolina in the conference season. Not to mention that they have non-conference dates with Notre Dame and Florida.

It’s probably going to take a miracle for Florida State to win the ACC, but if you believe in miracles, betting a few dollars on the Seminoles to win the ACC could net you a lot of cash.
