Here is look at some of our favorite College Football Picks for Week 3.

College Football Week 3 Odds Overview & Top Picks

Michigan to continue to roll against SMU (-32)

Michigan looked great last week against a weaker opponent. They ran the ball well with both of their star running backs. Karan Higdon and Chris Evans both had great contests. Higdon scored his lone touchdown on the ground in grand fashion, from 67 yards out.

Chris Evans racked up 86 yards and two trips to the end zone on only 10 carries. The defense narrowly missed a shutout and made quite the statement. we expect that to continue this week against a similar opponent.

USC to struggle at Texas (+1)

USC is relying on a freshman quarterback and traveling to Texas, which is not an easy place to play for anyone, let alone a freshman with all the pressure in the world. I think the Texas offense finally wakes up. Scoring only 28 points against Tulsa? Not exactly an in-state rival of theirs.

On the other hand, USC struggled offensively against Stanford, failing to put the ball in the end zone at all. This one may be tough to watch at times, but we feel the home field advantage and the pressures on USC and their young quarterback will create an opportunity for upset here. USC is currently ranked 15 in the nation, but won’t be for long.

Washington continues to roll at Utah (-6.5)

Myles Gaskin and Jake Browning can’t be bottled up forever. Look for the Huskie offense to explode in this one. Time of possession and points per possession should be heavily in their favor.

Jake Browning threw for 300 yards and their top receiving threat, Ty Jones, had two trips to the end zone, but overall, the win last week was not that impressive against North Dakota. We think we will see that statement win against a Pac-12 opponent, Utah, in this one.

Arizona State to beat SDSU (-3)

Arizona State put it to Michigan State last week. That was no pushover either. Michigan State has an outstanding quarterback and always has a tough defense. Granted, the game was at home for the Sun Devils, but we look for them to build on that confidence they recently earned and defeat a team that is less of a threat than the Spartans.

Arizona State should be one of your College Football Week 3 picks.

N’Keal Harry has been the most impressive wide receiver thus far in the short college football season. We are excited to get to watch more of him going forward. It’s been a while since someone this hyped has lived up to the attention.

Auburn to hold off LSU (-10)

Auburn at home and with a defense that shut down what many thought would be the nation’s leading rusher in Myles Gaskin. Holding him to only 75 yards when he is the primary threat on the Huskie offense was huge. Look for that to continue here in this one. Jarrett Stidham will be lights out.

He has some experience in big games, with defeating Alabama and Georgia featured on his resume. Also, the Tigers have not lost at home since 2016. If they can pull this one off, look for them to make their way into the top 5 in the CFB rankings.
