The College Football Selection Committee Rankings come out this week for the first time this season. This weekend’s games will have a huge effect on next week’s rankings. Let’s take a look at the College Football Week 10 top games and the respective betting odds.

College Football Week 10 Odds, Overview & Top Picks

(12) West Virginia @ (15) Texas (-2.5)

Can Texas rebound after last week’s shocking loss to Oklahoma State? Can West Virginia keep their slim playoff hopes alive? The Mountaineers are certainly an offensive team, and Texas is a little more well rounded. Tom Herman is going to have his hands full taking care of the Mountaineers offense. The game is in Austin, but in the end, the Mountaineers are the better team. Will Grier will lead the Mountaineers offense to an upset win over the home favorite Longhorns.

(6) Georgia (-9.5) @ (11) Kentucky

Georgia whipped Florida, while Kentucky needed an untimed down to defeat Missouri. What a wild win for the Wildcats. This is the best season the folks in Lexington have had in a long time. It’s not just basketball there anymore. Kentucky hasn’t hosted a high profile football game like this in a long time. Unfortunately for the Wildcats, Georgia will just be too much for them. Look for the run game of the Bulldogs to be too much, and combine that with a great defensive effort. Georgia wins by two touchdowns.

(14) Penn St. @ (5) Michigan (-10)

Penn State defeated a tough Iowa team. The Wolverines are coming off the bye week and will be ready for Trace McSorley and the Nittany Lions. Penn State has two losses on the season, so their chances at getting to the national title round are slim to none.

Michigan is one of the favorites for College Football Week 10.

But, James Franklin and the boys can ruin the plans for the Wolverines. In the end, though, the Michigan defense will be too much for the Penn State offense. Ann Arbor will be rocking! The Wolverines will continue to roll and will win 28-17.

(1) Alabama @ (4) LSU

Alabama will roll into Death Valley to take on the Tigers. Alabama has been a dominating force this season. LSU is always tough to beat at home. Unfortunately for the Tigers, they don’t have enough to slow down the rolling Tide. Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide move another step away from an unbeaten season Alabama wins this by 20.
