The Georgia Bulldogs will play host to the Texas A&m Aggies on saturday as SEC play starts to wrap up. This is just the first time since the Aggies joined the conference that the two will face off. Georgia will officially punch their ticket to the SEC title game with a win on saturday.

Texas A&M will be looking to play spoiler as they are coming in on a bit of a hot streak after winning four consecutive games. Their last game was a thrashing of South Carolina who was the only team to defeat the Georgia Bulldogs this season. This will be an exciting game of two unfamiliar teams so expect anything to happen.

Let’s take a look at the latest NCAAF Odds while making some predictions.

Texas A&M vs Georgia 2019 College Football Week 13 Odds, Preview & Pick

Georgia Bulldogs

Many people assume that Georgia has been winning by a stout defense and an improved running game and because of it they are not on the level of LSU. While this formula for winning is accurate it is not a healthy habit to think of them as an inferior team. The margin of victory for both teams is 23 and 24 points a game respectively.

The Bulldogs will look to muck this game up as much as they can. The rush defense has only gave up 100 yards rushing this season three times. Take out those games and the D is only allowing two yards a carry to opponents. 17 points is the most they have given up this year to any team.

Jake Fromm has been reliable this season but has not exceeded expectations. If he has a good run to end the year there may not be a team who competes with Georgia. Deandre Swift has been the focal point of the offense at running back. He broke the 1000 yard mark again this season on 100 less carries. He has seven touchdowns on the year to boot.

Texas A&M Aggies

Jimbo Fisher will bring his new team into Athens as 13 point underdogs. The only losses on the year have come against legit competition in Clemson, Auburn, and Alabama. The inspired play of late is due to the improved play of freshman Isaiah Spiller. He recently had a game where he carried for 217 yards and three TDs.

The Aggies have the third best offense in the SEC with 24 ppg. Kellen Mond is a big part of that as he has 18 TDs to only six turnovers. His ability to run should put stress on the Georgia D.

The Aggies D has also been improving as they allow a 46% completion. They have not allowed a touchdown pass in 3 of the last 4 games they played. This could be crucial as Fromm is under 47% and has barely broke 175 yards in his previous two games. The third down defense is currently ranked best in the SEC.

Texas A&M vs Georgia Final Prediction

Georgia is the 13 point favorite in this one and should be able to secure a victory in this one. The Aggies will put up a tough fight but the Bulldogs just wear on you as the game gets deeper. Fromm will play well enough to keep Georgia in the game. The Aggies just don’t have the size or depth that the Bulldogs do to win this game.
