The Mountain West Conference championship will be decided in San Diego this year, as the San Diego State Aztecs (8-3) prepare to welcome the Falcons of the Air Force Academy (8-3). The Falcons are four-point NCAAF betting underdogs, and the over-under total is set at 52.5 points.
The Aztecs enter the game riding an eight-game winning streak. Last week, they earned the push on a 17-point spread as they beat Nevada at home, 31-14. Both sides of the ball have been clicking for San Diego State, and that continued as the offense outgained the Wolfpack, 408-263, forcing three turnovers. Quarterbacks Christian Chapman went 9 for 12 combined for 88 yards, and Rashaad Penny hauled in a pair of passes for 28 yards. It was the ground where San Diego State dominated the game, as Donnell Pumphrey carried the ball 23 times for 154 yards and a pair of scores. Chase Price picked up 112 more yards on 19 carries, getting a touchdown of his own.

Air Force just had a five-game winning streak snapped when they fell at New Mexico, 47-35. The Lobos had run out to a 31-17 lead at halftime, and the teams just kept trading touchdowns after halftime. New Mexico outgained Air Force 512-389 on the day. Quarterback Karson Roberts was not playing at his best, going just 6 for 16 for 167 yards. He did throw three touchdown passes but also had three picks. Timothy McVey led all Air Force receivers with five grabs for 157 yards (and all three scores). He also led the rushing attack, carrying the ball 12 times for 105 yards and a pair of scores. Roberts added 62 more yards on 14 carries of his own.
