Music City Bowl: Texas A&M vs Louisville NCAAF Betting Lines
Beating the University of Texas likely earned head coach Kevin Sumlin at least one more year (even though both of their quarterbacks have transferred). The Aggies are 2-1 against the spread in their last three bowl games (winning all three). They meet the Louisville Cardinals in Nashville in the Music City Bowl this Wednesday at 7pm Eastern time. The Aggies are favored to win by 2.5 points. Click here for NCAAF betting lines.

Why should you take the Aggies (-2.5)?
The Aggies ran out to a 5-0 start this season, with quality wins against Arizona State, Mississippi State and Arkansas. Then Alabama came to down and delivered a 41-23 whipping that featured three pick-sixes by the Crimson Tide defense. The Aggies went into a free fall, losing three of five to finish at 8-4 (4-4 SEC). The last game of the season saw them leading LSU at halftime but then losing 19-7. They average 28 points per game, but they have a hard time stopping the run. Their pass defense could work well against Louisville’s offense, which is designed to feature the pass.
Why should you bet on Louisville (+2.5)?
Louisville struggled out of the gate with a 2-4 opening, losing to Houston (who would win the AAC title), Clemson (the nation’s #1 team) and Florida State. Then Louisville won four straight before falling to Pitt at home. They did beat Kentucky on the road to finish the season at 7-5 (5-3 ACC). Louisville did outrush Kentucky by 222 yards, which could signal trouble for the Aggies. The fact that Texas A&M will be playing its #3 quarterback also spells trouble for Texas A&M.
Expert Final Score Prediction
I like the Cardinals to roll over Texas A&M in this bowl game, given the fact that the Cardinals found their running mojo late in the season and the Aggies will not be featuring a passer with any experience. I’m predicting a 35-13 win for the Cardinals.
