The 2019 College Football Week 1 is just around the corner. Just over a month and a half away, the Clemson Tigers will be ready to defend their National Championship. The lines have been set for many of college football’s top opening week games. Let’s preview some of the games that could have implications on the national title hunt alongside the latest NCAAF Odds.

Complete Betting Guide for College Football Week 1

8/24: Florida (-7.5) vs. Miami @ Orlando

Miami will start the Manny Diaz era against one of the top teams in the country. Ohio State transfer Tate Martell will be under center for the Hurricanes. Florida is coming off of a 10 win season and is looking to improve upon that number in Dan Mullen’s second year as head coach.

8/29: Georgia Tech @ Clemson (-33.5)

Trevor Lawrence and the powerful Clemson offense will be ready for their season debut. Gone are the days of the Georgia Tech triple option, as new coach Geoff Collins is implementing the spread offense. This could be a rough one for the Yellow Jackets.

8/31: Duke vs. Alabama (-30.5) @ Atlanta

The Crimson Tide doesn’t rebuild, they just reload. Most of the offensive unit, led by Heisman hopeful Tua Tagovailoa, is returning and should put up huge numbers. The defensive unit will be a top-notch unit as well. Alabama will look to roll over the Blue Devils and win big.

8/31: South Carolina (-7.5) vs. North Carolina @ Charlotte

Mack Brown will be making his return to the sideline after leaving Texas and being in the broadcasting position for a few years. South Carolina hasn’t lost to a team from North Carolina since 1999. They need to get the win here, as they have a brutal SEC schedule. UNC is in rebuilding mode, so the Gamecocks could win this one by double digits.

8/31: Auburn (-6.5) vs. Oregon @ Arlington

Justin Herbert would have been a top draft pick had he left Oregon, but unfinished business persuaded him to stay and play one more season for the Ducks. Guz Malzahn could be playing for his job this year, as many were disappointed with Auburn’s 2018 season. The power of the SEC could be too much for the Ducks in this one.

8/31: Florida Atlantic @ Ohio State (-26)

The Lane Kiffin Show will be coming to Columbus. Ryan Day will be taking over for Urban Meyer. Georgia transfer Justin Fields will be under center for the Buckeyes. There will be a lot of points scored in this one. Will the FAU defense be able to get some stops and keep this game close?

8/31: Florida State (-2.5) vs. Boise State @ Jacksonville

Willie Taggart’s debut season at Florida State was a disaster. He needs to turn things around, or his tenure at Florida State could be short. The Seminole defense returns a lot of talent and should be able to neutralize the Boise State attack.

9/1: Houston @ Oklahoma (-23.5)

Jalen Hurts will be debuting for the Sooners and will lead a stacked offensive unit. Dana Holgerson will be bringing his high-flying offense to Houston. The Cougars may be able to score some points, but the Sooners will be able to score at will against their defense.

The College Football Week 1 will have some intriguing games. There are more top matchups than normal, and many of these first weekend games could have large implications on the National Title hunt. College football will be here before we know it!
