NCAAF Betting: Top Games to Bet On Week 14

Posted by Aaron . on December 4, 2020 in

Even though there have been many trials and tribulations along the way, we’re finally in Week 14 of the college football season. There are only two games this week between ranked teams, but we could still see some upsets that could make some waves throughout college football. Let’s take a look at some of the top matchups in this week’s slate of games so you can bet on their NCAAF odds.

2020 NCAAF Week 14: Top Games to Watch & Bet

#5 Texas A&M @ Auburn

Even though Auburn has five wins, they’ve yet to beat a big time opponent. Texas A&M can’t afford to lose at this point, as they’re in a position to earn a playoff spot if one of the top four drops out. The Aggies defense has been stepping it up, and should be able to contain Bo Nix and the Auburn offense.

#4 Clemson @ Virginia Tech

Lane Stadium can be a nightmare for opposing teams, but with limited attendance, the Hokies won’t have near as big of a home field advantage. The Hokies have lost three straight, and now they’ll host a Clemson team that knows it can’t afford to lose again. Trevor Lawrence put up huge numbers last week against Pittsburgh and will look to continue to put up points. The Clemson defense looked inspired as well.

#10 Indiana @ #16 Wisconsin

Indiana had a huge comeback just to fall short against Ohio State and then beat a nice Maryland team. They did lose star quarterback Michael Penix for the rest of the season, and that could be a huge blow for the Hoosiers. The Badgers have one of the top run defenses in the nation, so they’ll force Indiana backup quarterback Jack Tuttle to beat them.

West Virginia @ #13 Iowa State

The Cyclones are coming off of a huge win over Texas, while the Mountaineers had the week off due to Oklahoma’s COVID issues. The Cyclones have a great shot at making the Big 12 title game, so they have to avoid losing to West Virginia. The Mountaineers have owned the Cyclones recently, winning their last two matchups by an average of 20 points.

Liberty @ #18 Coastal Carolina

Both of these teams have great offenses. Hugh Freeze has always been known as an offensive coach, and he has had his Flames play a very tough schedule. They had a victory over Virginia Tech, and lost a tight one to NC State. Both of these teams come into this one with nine wins. Whichever defense can hold on late will win this one.

#1 Alabama @ LSU

What a difference a year makes. Last year, these two teams were the top two teams in the country. LSU is now 3-4 and is sitting near the bottom of the SEC. Alabama has a great offensive unit led by Mac Jones, and a very strong defense. LSU will have to try to grind things out if they want to stay in the game.

#3 Ohio State @ Michigan State

The Buckeyes couldn’t play last week due to COVID issues, so we’re not sure what kind of product we’ll see on the field this week. Michigan State comes off of a big upset win over Northwestern. Justin Fields will be ready to play, and the Ohio State offense could be too much for the Spartans.
