NCAA Football Over/Under Picks for Week 11

Wake Forest Demon Deacons at North Carolina Tar Heels – Over/Under 65.5

Wake Forest has had quite the season up until now. The Demon Deacons are on a four-game winning streak and only have one loss on the season, a 45-42 loss against North Carolina State.

Wake Forest has been very dependent on its offense. Sophomore quarterback Sam Walker has been efficient on the offensive side of the ball.

Wake Forest also has a potent rushing attack that should be able to gain some yards against a North Carolina defense that has given up nearly 200 rushing yards per game. The Tar Heels have given up over 400 yards of offense in four of their last five games.

Even though Wake Forest’s defense has given up no more than 23 points in its last four games, it has played some fairly suspect offenses. The Deacons will see a very high-powered offense when they come to Chapel Hill.

Sam Howell leads the North Carolina attack that can move the ball through the air or on the ground. Wake Forest’s defense can be scored upon, and the Tar Heels are capable of scoring points in bunches.

Since both of these offenses have shown a tendency to score a lot of points, and neither defense has shown that it is a powerful unit, we like the over 65.5 in Saturday’s contest.

Arkansas Razorbacks at Florida Gators – Over/Under 60.5

The surprising Arkansas Razorbacks travel to “The Swamp” to take on the No. 6 Florida Gators in an SEC battle.

The Razorbacks come into this game averaging 24.5 points per game. The thing that they have going for them is the fact that Florida’s defense isn’t anything to write home about. The Gators are giving up nearly 30 points per game.

Arkansas is 60th in the nation in passing offense, and former Gators quarterback Feleipe Franks will come into this one with a chip on his shoulder. He feels that he was not treated properly during his tenure in Florida, and he will want to show the Gators that he could’ve been the quarterback that led them to success.

Florida’s offense is one of the top units in the country. The Gators are averaging nearly 370 yards passing per game.

Their passing game is a huge contributing factor to their average of over 42 points per game. Although Arkansas’ defense is only giving up 26 points per contest, it has yet to see a passing attack as potent as Florida’s.

Arkansas is only giving up just under 230 yards passing per game, but this offense is much better than many that they’ve previously faced.

We think that Florida is going to hold true to form and put up at least 40 points against the Razorbacks. Arkansas will find ways to score against Florida’s defense as well. It won’t be by many, but we think that this game will go over the 60.5. Florida wins, 41-24.
