NCAAF Betting: 2020 Parlay Picks for Week 14
In a normal college football season, this weekend would be reserved for conference championship games. However, this has not been a normal season, and COVID-19 has wreaked havoc with the college football season. With the regular season getting off to a late start, we’re still playing regular season games. Let’s take a look at some games that we think you can put into a parlay so you can make your bets against their NCAAF odds and get some bang for your bucks.
2020 NCAA Football Week 14 Parlay Picks
Florida (-16.5) @ Tennessee
These two teams are at the opposite end of the spectrum. Florida is heading up in the world, while the Tennesse Volunteers are trending in the opposite direction. Jeremy Pruitt’s defense hasn’t been able to stop anyone as of late. Tennessee has lost five straight, and many are calling for Pruitt to be fired. Florida can score points in bunches. Kyle Trask leads one of the top offenses in the country. The Heisman trophy candidate has led the Gators to an average of 43 points per game. Dan Mullen will continue to help Trask in his pursuit of the Heisman trophy. Florida has won the last two meetings between these two by an average of 28 points. This Florida team is better than either of those. Florida wins this one by at least 21.
Alabama (-28) @ LSU
Just a year ago, the LSU Tigers were sitting on top of the world. What a difference a year makes, as they’re now sitting near the bottom of the SEC. The LSU offense has struggled to score this year, and the Alabama defense has been improving every week. Offensively, the Tide have one of the best units in the country. They have been putting up 40 points consistently. If Auburn put up 48 on the LSU defense, how many points will the Tide put up? Mac Jones will throw all over the LSU secondary. The Tide rolls big in this one and covers this large spread.
Iowa (-12) @ Illinois
The Illini have not accomplished much in the Lovie Smith era. Iowa has won four in a row, and three of those victories have been by more than 20. Illinois has been hit hard by injuries. The Hawkeyes will pound the ball against the Illini defense. Iowa seems to have the Illini’s number and will win this by 14.
Clemson (-21.5) @ Virginia Tech
Lane Stadium is usually one of the toughest venues to win at. However, the crowd really won’t be much of a factor in this one, as the limited attendance has taken away home field advantage for college programs. Virginia Tech has yet to get back to the prominence that they had in the Frank Beamer years. Trevor Lawrence returned from his COVID absence and put up some huge numbers in Clemson’s dominant victory over Pittsburgh. Clemson knows that they have to win out to get back to the ACC Championship game, and the defense has stepped up after they struggled in the loss to Notre Dame. Clemson will continue to dominate and will defeat the Hokies. They’ll blow the Hokies out and cover the 21.5 point spread.
