College Football Week 9 is here. Although there aren’t a lot of top matchups, there are two big games that have national championship implications. Let’s take a look at this week’s NCAAF Betting top games.

2019 College Football Week 9 Odds, Overview & Picks

#9 Auburn Tigers @ #2 LSU Tigers (-12)

LSU looks like a legitimate title contender. Joe Burrow has led the new-look LSU offense to some big outcomes. The LSU defense is playing like a defense that can stop anyone. Auburn had a huge loss to the Florida Gators. Freshman quarterback Bo Nix played poorly and couldn’t make the big plays when he needed to.

Playing at Death Valley can be difficult enough for a seasoned quarterback, but it’ll prove to be even more difficult for a freshman signal caller. Auburn’s vaunted defense will keep them in this one, but LSU will get the victory. LSU wins 28-21.

#13 Wisconsin Badgers @ #3 Ohio State Buckeyes (-14)

Just a few days ago, this was looked upon as one of the biggest games of the season. Now that Illinois defeated Wisconsin, this game has lost a lot of its luster. Ohio State has looked unstoppable. The offense, led by Justin Fields, has put up huge points, while the defense has held its opponents in check.

The OSU defense will be geared up to stop Jonathan Taylor. Ohio State is just too good right now, and is on a mission to prove to everyone that they belong in the playoffs. Ohio State wins this one by 20 points.

#8 Notre Dame Fighting Irish @ #19 Michigan Wolverines (-1)

This season has been a disappointment for the Wolverines. Many experts predicted huge things from Jim Harbaugh and his team. They have struggled offensively, and are just now really starting to get the ball moving. Notre Dame comes in off a bye week. Their lone loss was a close game at Georgia.

Michigan made a valiant comeback at Penn State, but fell short. Notre Dame knows that they need this win to stay in the hunt for a playoff spot. This one will be close, but the Irish win by a field goal.

#6 Penn State Nittany Lions (-5 ½) @ Michigan State Spartans

Things haven’t gone the way that Michigan State thought they would this year. Even though they have a very tough defense, they’ve still been unable to get the victories that they thought they could. Penn State comes off of a huge home win over the Michigan Wolverines.

Penn State has lost it’s chances at a Big 10 title the last two years due to losses to the Spartans. They’ll be looking for revenge in East Lansing, and they’ll get it. Penn State wins by a touchdown in a hard fought victory.

California Golden Bears @ #12 Utah Utes (-18)

California has lost three straight. Defensively, they will pose a challenge to the Utes. Utah only has one loss, and is the Pac-12’s only hope at a playoff berth. Utah will be ready for Cal, and will beat them 34-13.
