College Football Week 12 will see crucial matchups as some of the top teams in their respective conferences square off. With the playoff rankings being released again this week, do not forget about the playoff implications that are also affected by these games. Let’s take a look at some of the best NCAAF bets this week.

2019 College Football Week 12 Odds, Overview & Picks

Georgia Bulldogs vs. Auburn Tigers

  • When: Saturday, 2:30
  • Where: Jordan-Hare Stadium, Auburn, Alabama
  • College Football Week 12 Odds: Georgia Bulldogs -2.5

Georgia is still very much alive in the playoff hunt and will need to knock off Bo Nix and the Tigers. The freshman Nix has lead them to an impressive 7-2 record despite the seventh toughest strength of schedule. Georgia’s offense will need to improve on some sub optimal performances over the past few weeks.

The Dawgs defense has been the dominant force most expected as they posted shutouts for two of the past three games.

Georgia is one of the most talented teams in the country and can clinch an SEC championship birth with a win. I expect Georgia to seperate down the stretch of the second half and put away Auburn even as the road team. Take the Bulldogs -2.5.

Minnesota Golden Gophers vs Iowa Hawkeye

  • When: Saturday, 3:00
  • Where: Kinnick Stadium, Iowa City, Iowa
  • College Football Week 12 Odds: Iowa Hawkeyes -2.5

The Golden Gophers are one of the few undefeated teams still alive and are coming off their best win of the year over Penn State. Minnesota saw its defense stand tall against the Nittany Lions as they forced three turnovers and forced several turnovers on downs.

Tanner Morgan had a terrific game as he went 18-20 with over 300 yards and no turnovers. Iowa is no slouch in this game despite a tough road loss against the Wisconsin Badgers. Each of their losses have come from one possession games.

The offense will need a big game from the rushing attack as the Gophers run D hasn’t been the most stout this season.

Iowa is a tough, physical team that will benefit from a raucous Hawkeye crowd. Iowa as the home favorite will give Minnesota fits and that is who I am taking -2.5.

Oklahoma Sooners vs. Baylor Bears

  • When: Saturday, 7:30
  • Where: Mclane Stadium, Waco, Texas
  • College Football Week 12 Odds: Oklahoma Sooners -9

This game features the top two teams in the Big 12 and both teams will be looking to knock the other from contention. Baylor has been the surprise of the conference this year as they escaped in overtime last week to stay undefeated. Head Coach Matt Rhule is doing a heck of a job in his first season as this team was 1-11 last year.

Oklahoma also had their fair share of struggles last week as they got out to a big lead only to squander the lead late but were able to secure a win in the end over Iowa State. Jalen Hurts had an uncharacteristically careless game for his standards as he committed two turnovers in the fourth quarter.

Baylor will be a tough team to beat as an Oklahoma team that has not played well on the road comes to town. Look for the bears as the home underdogs in this one.
