On Thursday night, the #11 Wisconsin Badgers take on the Michigan Wolverines in Big Ten basketball action. Wisconsin (21-4, 10-2 Big Ten) took a bad loss on Sunday, falling at home to Northwestern, 66-59, to end an eight-game winning streak. Michigan has a two-game winning streaking going, including an impressive 75-63 win at Indiana on Sunday. Take a look at all of our college basketball odds for this week’s games.

Why should you bet on the Badgers?

Big man Ethan Happ has been a dominant force for much of the season. However, Northwestern decided to double-team him and see if Nigel Hayes could shoulder the load inside by himself. He did put up 13 points (nine in the second half), but it was not enoughas the stifling Northwestern defense kept Wisconsin from scoring enough. One good sign for Badgers fans came when Happ knocked down a 17-foot jumper. Not known for his outside shooting, Happ could become even more of a nightmare for opposing teams. The problem for Wisconsin on Sunday was slow ball movement; against Michigan, they will need to get better energy and distribution if they want to avoid a second straight upset.

Why should you put your money on the Wolverines?

Michigan picked up just their second win in their last ten trips to Indiana on Sunday. They started the season 0-6 in true road games, but they picked up their first win away from home or neutral sites thanks to Derrick Walton Jr.’s 25 points and Moritz Wagner’s 11 points and 10 boards. To be fair, Indiana is now 5-8 in Big Ten play — a far cry from their typical solid play — but Michigan moved up from ninth in the conference to sixth, and every win they can get going forward boosts their hopes of a postseason appearance. Against Wisconsin, they need to figure out how to stop the dynamic duo of Happ and Hayes.

Betting Pick and Final Score Prediction

Wisconsin will learn from their mistakes against Northwestern and head to Michigan ready to get back on a winning streak. I predict a final score of Wisconsin 74, Michigan 68.
