Top Saturday NCAAB Parlay Picks

Saturday’s slate is filled with some terrific NCAA basketball action. Let’s take a look at some of the parlay picks that could end up bringing you the most money.

Top Saturday NCAAB Parlay Picks

Memphis at South Florida / #8 Xavier at Georgetown

This could have you sitting pretty before brunch is over, as these two games take place at 11:00am and noon Eastern time, respectively. South Florida is one of the real doormats in the American Athletic Conference, and while Memphis is not likely to make it into the NCAA tournament, they are a lot better than the Bulls. Up the coast in Washington DC, #8 Xavier is likely to have its way with Georgetown. These are not John Thompson’s Hoyas; they are John Thompson III’s Hoyas, and that’s quite a difference.

Butler at #1 Villanova / #3 Oklahoma at #10 West Virginia

If you can get a line on Butler-Villanova that is 15 points or less, I’d snap that up along with a West Virginia pick in this game. It’s very unlikely that Butler will play a competitive game against the nation’s top-ranked team, and West Virginia’s arena is a house of horrors for the opposition, as the noise and the full-court press are likely to give the Sooners fits.

#17 Purdue at #22 Indiana / Texas Tech at Oklahoma State

That’s right, this is the Indiana that just knocked off Iowa at home, and now they get to do the same thing to Purdue. The Hoosiers have the right mix of interior rebounding and defense against the backcourt to keep the Boilermakers on their heels. In the Big 12 end of the parlay, Texas Tech has made meals out of some ranked teams lately, knocking off Iowa State and Baylor. Oklahoma State is way down the Big 12 table this year, and I like the Red Raiders to go up to Stillwater and come out with a win.

Colorado at UCLA / Saint Mary’s at Gonzaga

Gonzaga is a team like Wichita State — a team that is head and shoulders above most of the rest of the competition in the conference. This can lead to some “trap” situations where the team plays down to the opponent. However, after losing at SMU last Saturday, Gonzaga needs some momentum going into seeding for the NCAA tournament, and I can see them using Saint Mary’s as an example. In the Pac-12 game, UCLA is significantly better that Colorado, so don’t use the fact that UCLA is unranked as an excuse not to take them here.

Yale at Penn / TCU at #13 Iowa State

Yale is the class of the Ivy League this season, so the fact that they’re taking on the Quakers on the road shouldn’t scare you away. Iowa State has had its coughs and sputters this season in Big 12 play, but they won’t have any at home against the Horned Frogs.
