Sure NCAAB Bets for this Weekend

Looking for some games and college basketball betting opportunities where to put your money this weekend? Let’s take a look on some of the games that have the most promise. Remember — as the weekend gets closer, you’ll want to check the point spreads and the under/over totals. But for now, these are the games that we like the most.

Sure NCAAB Bets for this Weekend

Monmouth at Rider (Friday)

Monmouth has been a solid road team so far this year. Even though they aren’t in the AP top 25, they have attracted a national following because of the celebrations that their bench players run when the team scores big baskets. They’ve become a sensation on YouTube and SportsCenter, and Rider is not a tough home team. Monmouth brings a ton of energy with them on the road, and I like them sneaking into take a win away from Rider.

#22 Kentucky at South Carolina (Saturday)

Kentucky has figured out some of the problems that had been plaguing them in losses to such teams as Kansas as Tennessee on the road. They’ve figured out that combination of track-meet offense and suffocating defense that make them a big threat in the NCAA tournament each year. South Carolina had flirted with the lower end of the AP Top 25 but is out again. Even though this is a road game for Kentucky, I see them winning this game by at least 8 or 10.

TCU at #10 West Virginia (Saturday)

West Virginia is coming off a frustrating loss at Kansas, and TCU is not one of the stronger teams in the Big 12. I like the Mountaineers to press TCU all over the place this weekend and take the game in a rout. Even with a spread as high as 10, I would take West Virginia in this one. If the over/under total is 130 or less, I’d be tempted to take the over because I think that West Virginia might put up 85 or 90 by themselves in this one.

#6 Kansas at #3 Oklahoma (Saturday)

The Jayhawks are coming over an impressive win over West Virginia at home, but this road test against the Sooners will be their toughest test of the season. The Jayhawks are aiming for a 12th consecutive Big 12 championship, and the Sooners are the biggest obstacle in their path. Given some of the tests that the Sooners have failed this season (including that loss to Kansas State), I’d definitely take Kansas as a road dog and might even take them favored by 4 or fewer.

Minnesota at #4 Iowa (Sunday)

Minnesota is a dangerous team for their Big Ten foes at home, but on the road they are not nearly as dangerous. Iowa has shown they are the real deal, at least up to this point in the season, with their only real conference hiccup coming at Maryland. I like Iowa to win convincingly over the Golden Gophers this Sunday. Even if the spread is as high as 8 points, I’d have no qualms about taking the Hawkeyes in this one.
