NCAAB Picks Of The Week
In the midst of conference play in college basketball, there are some opportunities for you to line up a couple of games on the same day and make some more money off the parlay. Let’s take a look at some of the best NCAAB betting opportunities this week.
Best Picks of the Week!
Tuesday: #20 Kentucky at Tennessee / TCU at #1 Oklahoma
Unless that OU spread is over a dozen points, I would take this parlay all the way to the bank. Kentucky is coming off a loss at Kansas in which they blew a lead in the second half, and Oklahoma is light-years better than the Horned Frogs in the basketball arena.
Wednesday: St. John’s at #6 Xavier / Penn State at #5 Iowa
Iowa is coming off a tough road loss at Maryland, and Xavier welcomes one of the lower-tier teams in their conference to town. Look for Iowa to work out a bit of their frustration and Xavier to hold serve in this pairing.
Wednesday: Boston College at #9 Virginia / Creighton at #3 Villanova
This isn’t the same Creighton that struck fear in the hearts of their more elite conference foes in past year, and Virginia is steaming toward a third straight regular season ACC title. BC and Creighton are the next schedule fodder for these two pending high seeds in the NCAA tournament.
Wednesday: #4 Maryland at Nebraska / Kansas State at #7 Kansas
Yes, Maryland did just polish off Iowa at home in a big upset, but don’t look for them to fall into a trap against the Cornhuskers. Meanwhile, Kansas is looking to move into one of those top four seeds in March by sprucing up their resume.
Thursday: #8 Texas A&M at Vanderbilt, South Florida at Cincinnati
Nashville’s Memorial Gymnasium has been a pitfall for many superior SEC teams who come in to play Vanderbilt, but the eighth-ranked Aggies are the real deal and will sweep the Commodores out of their building. The American Athletic Conference is deep in terms of talent and competition, but the South Florida Bulls are far from the same level as the Cincinnati Bearcats. Expect Mick Cronin’s crew to run all over the Bulls.
Saturday: #7 Kansas at TCU / #21 Wichita State at Illinois State
Illinois State is a major player in FCS football — but they are not anywhere near the Shockers’ level when it comes to basketball talent, so expect Wichita State to roll easily in that game. Kansas is several tiers above the TCU Horned Frogs in Big 12 competition, so pick these two ranked winners on the road.
Sunday: #12 SMU at South Florida / #5 Iowa at Illinois
The SMU Mustangs ended their losing streak at one game. If they can pass their test at Houston on Monday night, look for them to continue their dominance over a South Florida team that is overmatched in the AAC this year. The Iowa Hawkeyes are the real deal in Big Ten play and are looking to earn one of the top four seeds in the NCAA tournament. Expect them to roll over an overmatched Illinois squad.
