The top-ranked Gonzaga Bulldogs (28-0, 16-0 WCC) head down the Pacific Coast Highway to take on the San Diego Toreros (12-16, 5-11 WCC). Gonzaga knocked off Pacific on Saturday, 82-61, on Saturday, while the Toreros ended a five-game losing streak by knocking off Santa Clara, 60-58, in double overtime on the road on Saturday night. Once you’ve finished checking out this preview, take a look at college basketball spreads.

Why should you bet on the Bulldogs?

Gonzaga is just two wins away from a perfect 30-0 season. When Gonzaga hosted the Toreros, they won by 36 points. Against Pacific on Saturday, Gonzaga showed absolutely zero signs of rust against Pacific, as five players hit double-figures, led by 18 points and seven assists from Nigel Williams-Goss. Johnathan Williams had a double-double (12 points, 11 boards). The Bulldogs’ defense was in fine form too, as Pacific only made 33.8 percent of their shots. Gonzaga went into the locker room with a 43-30 lead and never looked back. As long as you can get a line under 10 or 12 points, I would definitely put some money on Gonzaga here.

Why should you put your money on the Toreros?

Well, San Diego is coming into this game with some momentum. Against Santa Clara, Tyler Williams nailed a jumper at the end of the second extra session to seal a win for the Toreros. Cameron Neubauer put up 24 points and 10 boards — and he made the layup at the end of the first overtime to keep things going. Brett Bailey also chipped in 10 points. So it’s possible that San Diego could make things interesting…and that Gonzaga could be caught napping…but I wouldn’t bet on it.

Betting Pick and Final Score Prediction

Gonzaga wants to keep that #1 March Madness seed, so expect them to keep their collective foot on the gas against San Diego. I predict a final score of Gonzaga 75, San Diego 58.
