Why should you bet on the Sooners?

For a lot of the game, the Sooners dominated the action against the University of Texas. Buddy Hield put up 33 points, but only three in the last seven minutes. Those minutes were when Texas went on a 25-5 run to finish the game and end up running away with the result. When Hield is on, there are few teams who can keep up with the Sooners on the offensive end of the floor. If Hield had held that pace over the course of the game, then the Sooners would have prevailed easily. However, the Longhorns were able to score and get stops down the stretch. I don’t see Baylor winning this one straight up, though.

Why should you put your money on Baylor?

Even though it looks like 6-8, 275-pound senior Rico Gathers is headed on a bizarre journey that will lead away from basketball to (possibly) the NFL, it is still likely that the Bears have a dominant inside player in Johnathan Motley. Motley poured in 22 points and grabbed 9 boards. Taurean Prince dropped 22 on TCU, including 16 in the second half. The Bears grabbed 45 boards to the Horned Frogs’ 21 and outscored TCU 25-7 in second-chance points. The Bears now have six road wins in Big 12 play this season, matching a program record. The Bears are headed toward a potentially deep run in the NCAA tournament, and the ycould come up north and surprise the Sooners.

Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction

I like the Sooners to take advantage of the Baylor Bears at home and roll to victory, 82-74.
