Arkansas at Florida Betting Lines, Pick & Prediction

On Wednesday night, the #12 Florida Gators host the Arkansas Razorbacks in SEC action. The Gators (23-6, 13-3 SEC) saw a nine-game winning streak come to an end on Saturday when they lost at then-#11 Kentucky, 76-66. The Razorbacks (22-7, 11-5 SEC) have won five games in a row, knocking off Auburn on Saturday, 79-68. The online betting on college basketball will keep heating up between now and March Madness, so check out all of our NCAAB lines.

Why should you bet on the Razorbacks?

Arkansas is doing their best to make a case for a spot in the NCAA basketball tournament, and taking down Florida would put a big bullet point on their resume. Arkansas wins when they control the inside, and they did just that against Auburn, scoring 36 points in the lane. Jaylen Barford scored 20 points, Dusty Hannahs chipped in 18 and Daryl Macon put in 13. So even though Moses Kingsley got into early foul trouble, the Hogs were able to do enough inside to keep Auburn away from the boards. The Arkansas defense also held Auburn to 37 percent shooting for the night. It didn’t help that Auburn missed 11 free throws, but this was a smothering effort by Arkansas.

Why should you put your money on the Gators?

Florida had a 12-point first half lead and two different eight-point leads in the second half of their in their loss to Kentucky. They showed the ability to get stops on the Wildcats at crucial junctures, but they couldn’t hold them down for the entire game. KeVaughn Allen led the Gators with 24 points, but Kentucky guard Malik Monk put up 33 — 30 in the second half. The key problem for Florida came on the glass, as Kentucky won that battle, but they also couldn’t solve Monk after the intermission. Arkansas does not have anyone with Monk’s athleticism, so the Gator defense should be able to handle the Razorbacks.

Betting Pick and Final Score Prediction

The Razorbacks have put together a solid winning streak, but they’ve been beating the bottom feeders in an SEC that is not a strong basketball conference. I like Florida to win, 74-66.
