Toronto at Milwaukee NBA Playoffs Betting Lines Game #4

The Milwaukee Bucks host the Toronto Raptors in Game 4 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series on Saturday afternoon. The Bucks absolutely demolished Toronto in Game 3, scoring more points in the first quarter (32) than Toronto would score in the whole first half (30), rolling to a 104-77 win that was not as close as the score indicated — Toronto put up 31 points in the fourth period, when the Bucks’ starters were riding the pine. Here’s a closer look at the NBA lines for this game.

Toronto at Milwaukee NBA Playoffs Betting Lines Game #4

When: Saturday, April 22, 3:00pm ET
Where: BMO Harris Bradley Center
Radio: Toronto / Milwaukee
Live Stream:
NBA Odds: Bucks at -2

Why should you bet on the Raptors?

It’s true that Toronto was epically bad in Game 3. However, they’re unlikely to go 4 for 18 in the first period again, and DeMar DeRozan is unlikely to go another whole game without a field goal. Serge Ibaka is unlikely to get so frustrated by a simple defensive goaltending call that he will draw a technical foul again. While I do expect the Bucks to have similar energy on Saturday, I also expect that Toronto will have made the adjustments they need to make in order to be more competitive — better ball rotation on offense to get better looks, and simply better shooting as they adjust to a hungry Milwaukee crowd.

Why should you put your money on the Bucks?

It has been sixteen seasons since the Milwaukee Bucks won a playoff series; in 2001, they made it to the East finals but haven’t been back. So the Bradley Center was a maelstrom of noise on Thursday night, and the Bucks hit the ground running, while Toronto could not buy a bucket early on. Khris Middleton led the way with 20 points, while Greg Monroe chipped in 16 points and seven boards. Giannis Antetokounmpo had a quiet 19 points and eight boards — quiet because of how well the rest of the team was playing. If they come out with similar energy on Saturday, the Raptors will go home for Game 5 on the brink of elimination. Their defense held Toronto star DeMar DeRozan without a single field goal.

Betting Pick and Final Score Prediction

I see Toronto making Game 4 much more interesting than they made Game 3, but I see Milwaukee taking another win to send things back to Toronto 3-1. I predict a final score of Milwaukee 105, Toronto 102.
