The Milwaukee Bucks welcome the Toronto Raptors for Game 3 of their Eastern Conference quarterfinal series. The Bucks took the opener up in Canada, but the Raptors brought things all square at a game apiece on Tuesday night, winning 106-100. Who will have the advantage in the NBA odds for Game 3? Let’s take a look at the game preview.

Why should you bet on the Raptors?

The difference for Toronto in Game 2 was Kyle Lowry, who struggled in Game 1 but put up 22 points, including the bucket that iced the game with fewer than 10 seconds left in the fourth period. Lowry had gone 0 for 6 from downtown in Game 1, tallying only four points, but Tuesday he went 2 for 5 from behind the arc. DeMar DeRozan put up 23 points, Jonas Valanciunas chipped in 10 points and 10 boards, and Serge Ibaka added 16 (13 in the second half). Having Lowry shooting at full strength makes the Raptors a much more difficult team to defend.

Why should you put your money on the Bucks?

Giannis Antetokounmpo continues to play huge games for the Bucks, putting up 24 points and grabbing 15 boards. Khris Middleton chipped in 20 points, and Greg Monroe added 18. The Bucks had the answers on defense for much of the night, but then they went ice cold in the fourth period, only putting up 17 points. If their offense had stayed on, then Lowry wouldn’t have been in position to seal the game with that jumper. The Bucks need to return to their Game 1 focus of defending the three, a weapon that hurt them in the second game. If you like Milwaukee, then you think that they can return to that swarming defense from Game 1.

Betting Pick and Final Score Prediction

I like what these Bucks are bringing night in and night out, but I’m not sure they can stay with a Raptors team that has both DeRozan and Lowry hot from the backcourt. I predict a 107-105 Raptor win.
