Even though there aren’t a lot of top matchups in this week’s NBA Betting action, there are still some very intriguing matchups. We’ll take a look at 3 games where the home court could play a big role in the outcomes.

Top NBA Betting Picks of the Week – December 3rd Edition

Denver Nuggets @ Toronto Raptors – 12/3

In this clash of divisional leaders, the Denver Nuggets will travel to Toronto to take on the Raptors at the Scotiabank Arena. Denver is currently sitting atop the Northwest Division with a 15-7 record. Toronto is leading the Atlantic Division with a 2-4 record.

Both teams come into this game on winning streaks. The Raptors will bring an 8 game winning streak into Monday night’s game, while the Nuggets have won 5 in a row.

The addition of Kawhi Leonard has made the Raptors one of the top contenders for the NBA title. Leonard has brought a spark to the Raptors, as he is averaging 25.5 points per game, along with 8.6 rebounds. He is also one of the league’s top defenders. Leonard’s scoring has sparked the Raptors offense, as they’re averaging over 117 points per game.

Denver comes in as one of the league’s top defensive teams. The Nuggets are only allowing 102 points per game. In their current winning streak, the Nuggets own victories over current playoff contenders the Thunder, Lakers, Timberwolves, and Blazers.

This should be a fun contest. Toronto’s home court advantage could come into play here, as the Raptors are 10-2 at home this season. North of the border; the Raptors win.

Portland Trailblazers @ Dallas Mavericks – 12/4

The Dallas Mavericks have been one of the surprise teams in the NBA this season. Dallas is currently sitting at 10-10, but have overachieved early in the season. Led by the leading candidate for NBA Rookie of the Year, Luka Doncic, the Mavericks have played well early on.

Dallas welcomes the Blazers to the American Airlines Center. Both teams are currently sitting in 3rd place in their respective divisions. Portland, who started the season well, has recently hit a snag, losing 4 of their last 5. Dallas is 3-2 in the last 5 games.

These two teams are very evenly matched, as Portland scores 112 and allows 110 points per game. The Mavericks are scoring 110 points per game while giving up 108.

As is the case in many games, the home court may play a role in this one. The Mavericks are 10-2 at home this season. If they’re able to contain the Blazers dangerous backcourt of Damian Lillard and CJ McCollum, this will be a closely contested game. Too much Portland. The Trail Blazers win this game.

Golden State Warriors @ Milwaukee Bucks – 12/7

When the teams met earlier this season, the Bucks came into Oracle Arena and thoroughly dominated the Warriors 134-111. This game gave notice to the NBA that the Bucks are for real this season.

Warriors are NBA Betting favorites against the Bucks.

The Bucks are leading the Central Division with a 15-7 record. The Bucks are being led by MVP candidate Giannis Antetokounmpo. They are a high scoring group, averaging 121 points per game.

Both teams have struggled as of late, as the Bucks have lost 3 of their last 5, while the Warriors enter the week on a 2 game losing streak. The one thing that could help the Warriors get back on the winning track is the return of Stephen Curry. Curry returned to action last Saturday night.

The Bucks fans will be fired up for this one. Draymond Green’s status for the game is still in question, but the Warriors should arrive in Milwaukee at or near full strength. The Fiserv Forum crowd has led the Bucks to an 11-2 home court record, while the Warriors have struggled on the road this season with a 4-7 record.

This will be the last time that these two teams will meet this season, so it should be a great clash. Look for Golden State to get some revenge and win.

Have a great week and enjoy the games!
