Top NBA Betting Picks of the Week – December 10th Edition

As we’re headed into the Christmas season, the NBA Betting action is giving us a lot of gifts. This week will give us a lot of potential playoff teams matching up. Let’s take a look at some of the top contests in this week’s slate of games.

Top NBA Betting Picks of the Week – December 10th Edition

Monday, December 10 – Minnesota Timberwolves @ Golden State Warriors

Jimmy Butler is gone, but the Timberwolves are still having issues. Rumor has it that Tom Thibodeau is on the hot seat, and could need a resurgence by the Wolves to save his job. Minnesota is currently sitting at 13-13, and are 1 game out of the 8th playoff spot.

Going to Golden State isn’t what the Wolves need right now. Golden State will be back to full strength, as Draymond Green is scheduled to make his return. The Warriors have won their last 3, and are starting to look like the Warriors of old.

The Wolves are 2-9 on the road this season, while Golden State is 11-2 at Oracle Arena. Things aren’t looking good for Minnesota. However, Golden State hosts Toronto on Monday, so could they be overlooking the Wolves? In the end, the Warriors win, but Minnesota should keep it close.

Tuesday, December 11 – Toronto Raptors @ LA Clippers

Coming off of a home loss to the Bucks, we’ll see if the Raptors will be able to rebound as they travel to Los Angeles to take on the Clippers in the Staples Center. The 1st place Raptors come into LA with a record of 21-7. The surprising Clippers are currently sitting in 2nd place in the Pacific Division with a record of 16-9.

Both teams are entering the week on a 2 game losing streak. The Clippers are at Phoenix on Monday night, so their streak could be broken. We’ll see how the Clippers come out on Tuesday night, as they’re playing a back-to-back. Take Toronto, despite being on the road.

Wednesday, December 12 – Toronto Raptors @ Golden State Warriors

This is quite a stretch for the Raptors. A home loss to the Bucks on Sunday night, a trip to LA to play the Clippers on Tuesday, and then a date with the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena on Wednesday.

The Warriors will be looking to avenge their November 29th overtime loss to the Raptors in Toronto. This game probably won’t be a defensive battle, as these two teams are two of the top scoring teams in the NBA, averaging over 116 points per game.

The Raptors are not a safe NBA Betting pick for this week.

Toronto will be playing in a back-to-back, so we’ll see how they handle this. Golden State will have their full arsenal of weapons, so this should be a good game. It’s hard to bet against the champions.

Friday, December 14- Oklahoma City Thunder @ Denver Nuggets

In this Western Conference battle, the team currently sitting in 2nd in the conference playoff standings travels to the team sitting in 3rd in the playoff race, as the Nuggets welcome the Thunder to Denver.

Both teams enter the week going 7-3 in their last 10 games. OKC has been good on the road this season as they’re 7-5 away from home. Denver is 9-3 at home this season. The Nuggets enter the week on a 2 game losing streak.

Will Russell Westbrook, Paul George, and company extend the recent struggles by the Nuggets? Or will the Nuggets look at this game as their chance to prove to everyone that they belong at the top of the West? Take the Nuggets at home.

Enjoy the week! Best of luck with your NBA Betting picks!
