Top NBA Betting Picks Of The Week

Written by on February 1, 2016

Let’s take a look at some of the options for parlay picks in NBA action for this week. There are quite a few tough matchups this week — but these are the parlay picks that are most likely to bring you money.

Monday: Dallas at Atlanta & Orlando at San Antonio

The Dallas Mavericks have struggled in the second third of the season, as opposing teams have exposed their defensive flaws and they are losing key games against other contenders, pushing them down and out of the playoff race. They head to take on an Atlanta team that is holding its own in a tough Eastern Conference race and has a shutdown defense. I don’t like the Mavericks to come out of Atlanta with a win here.Meanwhile, in south Texas, the Orlando Magic head to San Antonio. The Spurs took a whaling from the Cleveland Cavaliers over the weekend, and the Magic will be their next opposition. I like San Antonio to win this game, and win by a lot, as the frustrations of the last game will explode all over Orlando.

Tuesday: Minnesota at L.A. Lakers & Milwaukee at Portland

The Los Angeles Lakers have been creeping their way toward respectability. They’ve been losing games in bunches, but the margins have been lower and lower. At the same time, a Minnesota Timberwolves team that went out of the gate fast and furious has had some of their youthful weaknesses exposed. I would definitely take the Lakers to snap up a home game here against an unsuspecting Minnesota bunch.Up the coast, the Milwaukee Bucks head to Portland. The Trail Blazers have been firing on all cylinders since Damian Lillard returned to the lineup, and the Bucks have been foundering as of late. I like the Trail Blazers to take care of business and win this game handily.

Wednesday: Atlanta at Philadelphia & Orlando at Oklahoma City

Here, we have two teams in the East basement (Philadelphia and Orlando) taking on two of the conference elites (Atlanta and Oklahoma City). Take a look at the lines, but if they’re not in double figures, I would take both of those teams to win.

Friday: L.A. Clippers at Orlando & Philadelphia at Washington

See if you like this formula: when Orlando and Philadelphia play strong teams, pick them to lose. The Magic aren’t playing that tough defense that helped them get some gritty wins early on, and the Sixers appear to be the first team ever to take on the neverending rebuilding project.

Saturday: L.A. Lakers at San Antonio & New Orleans at Cleveland

Check the projected game rosters before you put money on this parlay, as the Spurs have a way of resting all of their starters at once. However, the Lakers probably can’t beat the Spurs anyway — but make sure the line slides down to compensate before you bet. Meanwhile, the Pelicans followed up a brief awakening with another slide down toward the basement, and the Cavaliers will be more than willing to deliver a whipping in this one.
