On Saturday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder visit the Sacramento Kings as the NBA regular season starts winding down. The Thunder (54-25) are in first place in the Northwest Division but just lost in Portland, 120-115, on Wednesday night. The Kings (31-48) are in third place in the Pacific Division and just lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves, 105-97, on Thursday. Find out the latest NBA betting odds here.

Why should you bet on the the Thunder?

This is an excellent example of the Angry Revenge Theory. The Thunder are fighting inconsistency down the stretch, and they just lost to a Portland team that needed the win to clinch a spot in the postseason. Now they face a Sacramento team that, on its best days, is a mess because of the turbulence taking place in the team’s collective psyche thanks to DeMarcus Cousins and Rajon Rondo. I expect Russell Westbrook to add to his stack of triple-doubles this season against a Kings team that struggles to defend.

Why should you put your money on Sacramento?

The Kings took another collective blow to their psyche with a loss to the upstart Minnesota Timberwolves. They watched slam dunk champion Zach LaVine windmill in their gym, putting up 18 points in a first half that put the game basically out of reach. Sacramento is playing out the string with more questions than they had before the season began. The only way I take the Kings is if I can get a 12-point line, and if the line is really that high I might look at another game.

Expert Pick and Final Score Prediction

I like the Thunder to waltz into Sleep Train Arena and deliver some punishment to the Kings. I’m predicting a 122-107 Oklahoma City win.
