We have some great action in the National Basketball Association as we move into the first full week of 2020. We are excited for these games, and several others. Let’s take a look at a few of our favorite NBA betting picks of the week. Be sure to check back for the latest NBA Odds.

Top NBA Betting Picks of the Week – January 6th Edition

New York Knicks at Los Angeles Lakers – Tuesday January 7, 2020

Two long time rivals will get together in this game. This may not be one of the most competitive games of the week, but we expect this to be a challenge for the Lakers.

While New York is the second worst team in all of the league, they are have moments where they can compete. Look for them to go on the road and really defend LeBron and company. The Lakers win, but do not be surprised if the Knicks cover a spread that will be one of the largest all season in the NBA.

Miami Heat at Indiana Pacers – Wednesday January 8, 2020

We have two playoff teams getting together in Indianapolis on Wednesday. The Pacers are 8 games over .500 and 6th in the East. They are trailing Philadelphia by half game for the 5th seed. The Heat have been one of the biggest surprises in all of the league. They stand with a 26-10 record on the season.

The Pacers are really solid at home, in fact, they have won 15 out of 19 games there. Look for Indiana to keep up the successful home pace and win this game over the Heat.

Boston Celtics at Philadelphia 76ers – Thursday January 9, 2020

Another battle of two Eastern Conference playoff teams. The Boston Celtics are 25-8 and hold just ½ game lead over Miami for the second seed. Philadelphia would love to get out of the 5 seed, and move up for home court advantage in the first round.

Joel Embiid is banged up, and it would benefit the 76ers to let him rest a little. It will depend on who plays in this game, but at full strength, we like the 76ers to grab this win at home.

Milwaukee Bucks at Sacramento Kings – Friday January 10, 2020

The top seed in the Eastern Conference will face a challenge out West. The Milwaukee Bucks are 32-5 on the season, and 14-3 on the road. The Bucks have won five straight games.

The Kings are an interesting case study, because they have been up and down. Following a slow start, the Kings got hot, but have recently slipped back. They are 13th in the West now following losses in 9 out of their last 10 games. Do not be surprised though if the Kings keep this game close on Friday night.

There is a look at some of our favorite games on the hardwood. There are a ton of other games that we like, but these are our favorite for the week! Best of luck with your betting of the National Basketball Association this week!
