A full week of NBA Betting action this week. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite picks for the week.

NBA Betting Picks of the Week – February 25th Edition

Houston Rockets at Charlotte Hornets – Tuesday, February 26, 2019, 7:00 PM EST

In terms of league averages, the Hornets fare slightly better in terms of rebounds per game at 44 compared to the Rockets at just under 42. It should be no surprise that the Hornets also have more assists per game at over 23 compared to Houston’s more isolation based offense producing an average of just 20.7. Turnovers per game are also favoring Charlotte.

This game will come down to the ability of the wings of Houston to score and the ability of the Hornets to rebound and spread the ball around. With that being said, the Hornets still have to outscore Harden and the Rockets. I predict Houston to get things done in this one and steal a road victory by a score of 114 – 108, even though I really like what Kemba Walker can do on the offensive end.

Golden State Warriors at Miami Heat – Wednesday, February 27, 2019, 7:30 PM EST

The Golden State Warriors just continue to impress. Boogie Cousins showed he is well on his way to being back and better than ever. His presence was felt at the rim and the unique availability for a big man in that system will continue to showcase big-time box scores. Getting lane penetration frees up their outstanding shooters in Kevin Durant, Steph Curry and Klay Thompson and vice versa. Their offense can hurt their opponent in so many ways.

The Warriors should be one of your NBA Betting picks of the week.

They create a true mismatch at all positions because they have playmakers that normally would be the number one priority to stop, except they have those players at all starting five positions. They also have immense versatility with players like Cousins, Durant, and Green. Each of those players can play multiple positions and with great success. The Heat, although they have some nice young players, just don’t have much to get excited about. Bottom line, I like the Warriors to win this by a score of 118 – 102.

Chicago Bulls at Memphis Grizzlies – Wednesday, February 27, 2019, 7:00 PM EST

Just as Toronto benefits from the Marc Gasol trade, so too does Memphis suffer. The trade made good sense as it was a deal about the future, but for now, this week, the Grizzlies are worse off. In the last matchup between these two teams, Otto Porter, Jr. was an absolute machine scoring 37 points in the contest.

Avery Bradley led the charge for the Grizzlies in Gasol’s stay, but the Grizzlies failed to match Chicago’s production and lost the game by a score of 122 – 110. Neither team is great right now, but the veteran leadership is on the Grizzlies. They spread the ball around, they have great depth, and a team defense concept. I think this one will be over before we know it. I’ll take Bradley and his squad to win this one for their home fans by a score of 112 – 105.

Have a great week and enjoy the NBA Betting action!
