NBA Betting: Must Bet 2021 Games in Week 18
We’re headed down the stretch run of the NBA regular season, and everyone is fighting for their playoff lives. Teams are jockeying for playoff positioning and are trying to get everything settled in for a playoff run.
While playoff teams are making their last-minute adjustments, teams that aren’t making the playoffs are playing for a few more ping pong balls in the NBA Draft Lottery. These late-season games can sometimes be tough to bet on, but we’re confident that we’ve found a few games where you can turn a small amount of cash into a big chunk of change if everything plays out correctly. Let’s get right to it so you can make your bets against their NBA odds.
NBA 2021 Week 18 Games to Bet On
Tuesday, April 20 – Brooklyn Nets at New Orleans Pelicans
Nets games have gotten quite interesting, as you never know which members of the Nets’ “Big Three” of Kevin Durant, James Harden, and Kyrie Irving will actually be in uniform, or if all three might be out. Between injuries, rest days, and other issues, those three have spent very little time on the floor together this season. James Harden was already not scheduled to play in this one, but Kevin Durant left Sunday’s game with an injury, so we’re unsure of his status on Tuesday.
As for New Orleans, they’re very inconsistent. Sometimes they can look good, but they’ve looked like an average team most of the time. As of publication, the Pelicans wouldn’t even make the play-in round of the playoffs.
One good thing that they have going for them is Zion Williamson. The second-year player has been playing at an All-NBA level as of late. The Nets struggle on the defensive end, so Williamson could put up a bunch of points in this one.
Even though the Nets will be without some of their top scorers, the OVER could be a good play in this one, as neither team defends well.
Wednesday, April 21 – Golden State Warriors at Washington Wizards
Two of the top scorers in the league will match up in this one as Steph Curry and his Warriors travel to Washington D.C. to take on Bradley Beal and the Wizards. Curry is playing the best basketball of his career right now, as he’s averaging more than 30 points per game. He’s currently the second-leading scorer in the NBA, and if you guessed that he’s only trailing Beal, you are correct.
Neither of these teams is near the top of the league when it comes to team defense, so the teams should combine to score many points in this one. Take the OVER here.
Saturday, April 24 – Minnesota Timberwolves at Utah Jazz
The worst team in the NBA will travel to Salt Lake City to take on the best team record-wise in the league. While the teams are miles apart in terms of talent, there is still intriguing betting value.
The Jazz haven’t been playing the best, so Minnesota is catching them at the right time. Utah is 26-3 at home, while the Wolves have a horrible record of 5-23 on the road. You’ll need to pay attention to the inactive list in this one, as this could be a game where the Jazz choose to rest a player or two. However, even with potential inactives, the Jazz should still win.
