NBA Betting: 2021 Conference Championship Odds
With the NBA regular season coming to an end this weekend, and the postseason just around the corner, everyone is looking forward to the playoffs. We’ll see some great playoff action, as the league is as balanced as it has ever been. The goal for everyone now is to win their respective conference, so that they can earn a spot in the NBA Finals. Let’s take a look at the latest NBA Conference Championship odds to win the Eastern and Western Conferences.
Updated Odds to Win the 2021 NBA Championship
- Brooklyn Nets +100
If the Nets are healthy, they’re a force to be reckoned with. It will be very difficult to stop James Harden, Kyrie Irving, and Kevin Durant. Even though the Nets struggle on the defensive end of the floor, everyone is banking on them being able to outscore their opponents. It sounds like James Harden should be ready to go for the playoffs, so the Nets should be at full strength.
- Philadelphia 76ers +300
When Joel Embiid is healthy, the Sixers have the potential to beat anyone. Embiid will be motivated to play well in the playoffs. Now that the Sixers have shooters to surround Embiid and Ben Simmons, teams won’t be able to employ the strategy of just laying off of Simmons.
- Milwaukee Bucks +325
The Bucks have used the regular season to prepare for the playoffs. They may have sacrificed some wins to try some new things, but Mike Budenholzer thinks that the changes will help the Bucks in the playoffs. If Giannis Antetokounmpo is hitting shots from the perimeter, the Bucks will be hard to stop. Even if he isn’t, they’ll still be a tough matchup for anyone.
- Miami Heat +1400
The Heat are playing well, and they’re starting to look like the team that we saw in last year’s NBA Finals. If the Heat can play like they did then, they’ll be a tough out for their opponents.
- Los Angeles Lakers +230
Even though they’ve been without Anthony Davis and LeBron James for long stretches this season, the Lakers are still the favorites to win the West. It looks like James will be ready for the playoffs, but we’re not entirely sure of how healthy he truly is. The Lakers are the best defensive team in the league, so they may need to rely heavily on their defense to get them where they want to go.
- Los Angeles Clippers +240
When Paul George and Kawhi Leonard are playing well, the Clippers can beat anyone. Paul George will need to play better in the playoffs than he has in the past, or it could be a short run for the Clips. Acquiring Rajon Rondo could be huge for LA. He’s known for stepping his game up in the playoffs.
- Utah Jazz +300
If Donovan Mitchell is healthy, and the Jazz can continue to do what they’ve been doing, they can win the West. They’ll need to continue to shoot well from the perimeter if they want a shot at the finals. If teams can pull Rudy Gobert away from the basket, it will be difficult for the Jazz, but if they can find a way to keep him near the rim, they’ll be ready to make a long run.
